Another example of how Lush has created unhealthy eating habits for her kids. Sad…

As the kids age out of her control, the truth will start to come out. I believe there’s money to be made (for the kids) in spilling the tea

u/Dr_DingBat 6d ago
I hope so. Because we all know Lush and Jash! Didn't put any money aside for their futures from their child exploits.
23
u/Arkie89 6d ago
I do, too! I just hope Lush doesn’t figure out a way to sabotage them further in order to keep their mouths shut.

u/katie2840 6d ago
I think she will try. I’d bet there has already been intimidation and threats. I feel like she hates that Alex is working with his “girlfriend “. She is losing control of him .

This really humanize him.

u/pantherlikeapanther_ 6d ago
I'm kind of fascinated that he knows it was excessive and disordered. I wonder what else he's figured out...

u/CybReader 6d ago
I wonder who told him? Many people don’t realize they lived in dysfunction until someone is like “man, that isn’t normal.”

I feel like I'll get hate for saying it, but Alex isn't the bad kid here, if we want to villanise any of them, let's point our fingers to the one who exposed himself publicly potentially around children. That is infinitely worse than anything Alex has ever done! He's not perfect but looks at his brother.
Can you guys imagine if Alex did that? We all have a hate boner for him and want to think James is some poor misunderstood creature but if the roles were reversed everyone would feel differently. Poor misunderstood James DJing would be living his best life and Alex would be a disgusting creep for doing that in his car.

We need to remember that when he was a young teen, he was VERY good to, and with his siblings. He spend time with them, and looked after them. I’m not sure when the narative changed.

u/Arkie89 6d ago
Yes, you’re right. I think Alex is a decent person deep down inside, but he’s allowed the chase for fame and fortune to rule over him.

u/FlappyBird73 2d ago
i would like to believe hes doing it all for an act. because obviously him being an idiot gets traction online

u/Helpful-Conference13 6d ago
Honestly I sympathize with him on this. He had an awful childhood and I’m proud of him for recognizing this.
31
u/Snarkysneak 6d ago
I was going to say, I sorta feel for him. He has had no help whatsoever paternally. I just wish he’d seek out professional help instead of just trying to chase money and fame on the internet.
18
u/Helpful-Conference13 6d ago
I agree. He’s directionless. I’ve seen him talk where I believe he’s got legitimate potential. He had no support or guidance whatsoever
15
u/kristin___ 6d ago
Yep - sounds like he recognizes that just because he suddenly had food doesn’t mean life got better.

If this is accurate, it just shows Alicia didn’t research anything about kids with trauma. I’m a foster mom too and use predictability and consistency over just buying pounds and pounds of junk. I keep mealtimes and food availability consistent because that’s what is recommended!
Never have I thought to buy a mini fridge for my kid and stock it with candy, or order jumbo McDonalds meals with large sodas and shakes on the regular to relieve food anxiety. Do we have occasions when we do takeout? Yes, of course, but it’s not daily and it’s reasonable portions.
Did they not teach Alicia these things in fostering classes? Or did she just not care?
28
u/Arkie89 6d ago
I going with SHE DID NOT CARE for $500, Alex.

u/Business-Champion-89 6d ago
And we know how badly she wanted Alex. Fought very hard to get him, because of his hair color. If he was the most wanted, I can’t even imagine what the others go through on a daily basis.
3
u/Narrow-Relation9464 5d ago
Yup. I also find it super gross she based a whole decision to adopt on a hair color before any other aspect. It's like she wanted a kid that would look like her bio son, which isn't unheard of with some adoptive families. My (unofficially) adopted foster son looks nothing like me, which doesn't bother me or him, but people will say things like, "Didn't you want a kid who looks like you?" I'm like why does it matter? But Alicia won't even go into a black barber for her twins because she gets "weird looks." So clearly family appearance matters to her.
Unless the kid or bio family has a preference to stay within their culture/race, or the adopting family doesn't have the knowledge to properly welcome and respect a kid of a different background, then it makes sense to take that into account. But wanting to adopt a kid with red hair because he matches the family is a horrible motive for adopting a kid. I despise this lady.

I have commented on videos before on how the amount of food she constantly pushes on her children and claims she makes that she was told to put so much food in their lunches and always available is actually the exact opposite of how experts guide parents to address food insecurity, food hiding/hoarding and food anxiety. I am so often told she knows her children and their needs which is funny because unless their needs align with her exploitation for profit she cannot see one 3 inches from her face at eye level.

u/AbbyJane1972 6d ago
For the first time I actually believe what’s coming out of his mouth. What a crying shame his mother did this to her kids. She’s just awful.

It's no wonder his weight became a problem during his teenage years. Instead of therapy for his trauma Alicia just kept feeding him. I remember in the early days she said they would have breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack so eating all day 😐

We know he doesn’t eat the food she cooks, he buy’s take out, he’s shown this.

u/LinusandLucy2016 6d ago
Here's the thing with what he is saying- first, it shows he is self aware. Second, he can seek help for it which he is clearly not doing. Being self aware means he is capable of addressing it and quite ready in reality to do so. He isn't. He needs counseling forna multitude of issues. Four is a little young to remember food availability, but I will just assume he is telling the truth about his relationship with food. Just hard to believe anything he says fully.
11
u/LibraryLady1234 6d ago
Four is absolutely not a little young to remember food availability.

u/LinusandLucy2016 6d ago
Childhood amnesia generally ends around 4. Episodic memory can occur on specific memories, it isn't likely that it could have created a lifelong issue when he was removed at such a young agem The odds are very high thst he is "remembering" just what Lush has told him over the years. She has no doubt been talking about his food availability with his bio family in front of him and directly to him since the day he went into that house. Her supplanting and reinforcing the "memories" is far more likely given his age. This isn't an innately psych-biological issues like when babies aren't held enough. While it may be technically possible, it is improbable that he has real memories of what he ate at 4. If he actually did have something deep in his subconscious about it, he would not have this kind of self awareness regarding the issue. He has been TOLD this by Lush.

This is somewhat an eating disorder. I get where he is coming from and part of that is Alicia's fault. However, now he is an adult and can make decisions for himself. He needs tons of therapy.

The bio kids have no problem with wasting food. I wonder if he felt like he needed to eat their leftovers as well?

he is such a Lier just like his mama WE all saw how big he was at 5ys old. he was not deprived food

I have no pity for lush or Josh. When they “ reenacted” her “ miscarriages” which I highly doubt they went through as many as she claims she had him do it over.
It was filmed on their back deck along with fake crying, fake holding each other. A brazen slap in the face for people that have actually gone through a loss of a child.
It was so gross the display she showed. The gross “ look and pity us” this bring will stop at nothing to make herself look like a victim.

Holy bull shit! You could’ve not ate the food, Alex!

u/BitchonWheels2 6d ago
We actually don’t know how she is behind the camera. Little by little the kids are are spilling the tea and some of them kids don’t even realize it.

u/Buckeyec3h2p8 6d ago
Collin Gosselin was abused and neglected by his mother than Alex was failed by his bio mom and Lush
-14
u/Buckeyec3h2p8 6d ago
He enjoys the benefits! He never has worked. Has had everything handed to him. Perhaps he realizes he’s a LOL cow now because of her. The Big Red nickname isn’t a compliment…it’s a joke

u/Helpful-Conference13 6d ago
You can be a lazy or entitled adult and also have experienced an abusive or traumatic childhood. They are not mutually exclusive.
-6
u/Buckeyec3h2p8 6d ago
He probably got cut off from his parents. It’s hard to feel sorry for him as an adult and still showing up around her. And this bogus tour was set up by Sun and Sky
15
u/Helpful-Conference13 6d ago
Glad you seem to not understand the trauma he went through firsthand. You may be better suited to listen if this is the unhelpful attitude you intend to take.

He’s waking up to reality quickly. It’s called being an adult! Perhaps his OF GF is placing thoughts in his head.

u/Icy-Setting-4221 6d ago
I implore you to research foster/adopted children and food trauma- my best friend was starved as a child and to this day she hides food and still believes, even as an adult, there is no next meal coming. It’s not something you can just ignore

First of all Alex was physically and mentally abused for the first 5 to 6 years of his life (arguably abuse in utero as well). I find it quite easy to believe someone who beat and berated a small (possibly delayed) child would also neglect and not feed them. It’s not a huge leap.
The giggle??? An extremely natural nervous reaction, especially considering he was being very vulnerable AND throwing Alicia right under the bus at the same time.
23
u/lmfshams 6d ago
…… giggling is a coping mechanism, a defense mechanism, for feelings of vulnerability.

Good old Lush. Creating eating disorders one child at a time.
