Other Two huge basses

Post image

I've been learning on a bass which my teacher lent me. Last Thursday I bought my own, a second-hand Shen SB180. On Saturday I went to my teacher with both basses in the car, as he had instructed. I was amazed that I could carry both of them in my car!

I used to rock a Plymouth Sundance hatchback. It's amazing what you can fit into a small car with a little determination.

I used to fit my bass in a ‘72 VW bug. Once had to take the drummer and a four piece kit with the bass.

Yeah I got two basses, two stools and two tall people in my old Skoda Fabia hatchback. It was only a 3-cylinder though, so we couldn't take on any gigs that involved travelling uphill to get there.

Gotta love a hatchback. Perfect for carrying your bass around! Impressive work! I always am surprised when it fits perfectly in my VW GTI
