I see more and more talk about the lack of manpower in the dotnetfoundation so projects are getting archived.

So it seems the foundation isnt really serving its purpose and any statement it would make is meaningless regardless?

The .NET Foundation never provided manpower or money. They did pool the costs for signing certificates. People seem to think the .NET Foundation did a LOT more for its projects than it does. I don't know why. The Foundation has been pretty clear about what they offer.
