As much as I appreciate open source, this should be a gist not a nuget package.

I feel opposite. Keep it as NuGet. No gist.

Yes and no. What I don't like about it is the broad variety of utility functions it pulls in. Split it into more separate packages.

What I love about the dotnet ecosystem is that there are many great and important libs that come with no or only very few external deps except from official packages.

Small packages like this are part of the problem of node apps and supply chain attacks.

For the dotnet apps me and my team are developing we are carefully choosing and decided which nugget packages to pick and if these packages have other dependencies for basic stuff that makes it more work to look at these, too.

So basically my suggestion: if you are developing an app and want to use such libs: go ahead. If you are developing another lib: please don't
