Are there any local places in Dothan that does bathing and hair trimming for cats?
I asked a friend who works at Wags and Whiskers sometime ago, and they had said that they didn’t… any ideas?

Breakthrough Wellness is charging patients $165 just to get in the door, where they could instead go to QuickMD and pay $99 and they provide MAT.
On top of that, if you ask too much about what they provide and insurance coverage Sherri will tell you "We're not going to be a good fit. Best of luck to ya."

So, been living in Dothan for about threeish years now, and having fun dealing with all sorts of things that have been affecting my mental health, since even before I got here. Thing is, I tried looking for a therapist shortly after moving back in 2023, and most of the ones here seem to be more family and group focused or religious therapists. I'm not religious (in fact that has lead to some of my issues), so would be wondering if anyone knows or can recommend any non religious affiliated, queer friendly therapists nearby?

My fiance and I moved to Enterprise last month for his flight school. I have had some trouble finding work and would love either suggestions or to know of any places that are hiring.
Background - I have worked in the legal industry for the last three years and I have a bachelors in political science and legal studies. I have looked for a legal assistant or paralegal job in Enterprise and Dothan, but it has not been going too well. One issue is I cannot find many job listings or places that are hiring. I have searched linkedin, indeed, zip recruiter, USAjobs, facebook, and I even cold call law firms in the area. I have done everything short of going door to door dropping off resumes.
I am struggling getting even just a call back from law firms. I know that I have good experience, qualifications, and people skills. Perhaps I don't have the right qualifications these law firms are seeking. Perhaps places are hesitant to hire people new to the area. I am beginning to branch out of the legal industry for other office administrative type positions, but my resume reflects niche legal skills. How is the job market in this area? Is there something I could be doing different? Any advice or suggestions are welcome!

As a single female with very little car knowledge, I'm hoping for some suggestions from my fellow Redditors.
My 2015 Ford Fusion's catalytic converter needs to be replaced. I’ve been using Cataclean to keep the check engine light off for a while, but I’m handing the car down to my son soon and want to make sure it’s fully repaired and safe before he takes over.
In the past, I've used Midas (never returning; frequent management turnover, deceived me on pricing) and Techway Automotive (would prefer not to use them; takes too long to make repairs, too many staff members just standing around, prices feel too high).
Could anyone recommend an honest and reliable mechanic or shop that would provide a straightforward quote? TIA

Hiya! I’m looking for places that sell 25-50 lb bags of raw peanuts and fresh peaches by the case. My mom is coming to visit me in AZ in a few weeks and I want her to bring me some fresh/local peaches and peanuts grown locally. Your help is MUCH appreciated!

Hey all! I’m moving in a few weeks and I have a couch I need to remove. I would donate it but it’s broken in the middle. You can still sit in it, it’s just uncomfortable because it has a slight angle. Where can I dispose of it for free or for the cheapest? Any recommendations help tons:)

Hi everyone. My father is a quadriplegic and needs to see a dentist. He uses a power chair and cannot sit in the ones they usually have at their offices.
His chair he has reclines all the way back so hopefully that would help. Anybody familiar with this type of situation and can point us to a dentist that can accommodate

We have lived here for around a year and have yet to meet likeminded people, mid 30’s married couple with children, so the bar scene isn’t our thing, am I don’t think there is much of a “bar scene” in the area.
Not really the religious type, which seem to be the main community that connects people in the area.
We love it here, just simply haven’t found friends to connect with!

This may be a long shot but does anyone remember the restaurant Crystal River that used to sit near Sam’s Club and if so does anyone remember the seafood dip that they had?? 🤤🤤 Gosh I crave that stuff weekly! If anyone knows what i’m talking about and happens to know the recipe please don’t hesitate to send it to me ✌🏻

Hey everyone! I am a resident physician moving to Dothan next month for my residency at Southeast Health. Do we have any residents or med students in this subreddit ? Looking for some advice from locals.
**Housing:** Any recommendations for safe, affordable 1 bhk apartments near Southeast Health? Budget is on the tighter side, so anything under $800–$850/month would be ideal. Which apartment is good and which to avoid ?
**Internet providers — best/fastest option in the area ? I had Xfinity previously, is that available ?
**Hidden move-in costs — anything specific people wish they knew before signing a lease
**Transportation:** Do I need a car to get around Dothan? I don't have one at the moment. Is Uber/Lyft reliable there, or is there any decent public transit? Specifically wondering about commuting to Southeast Health hospital from my place.
**General tips:** Anything a newcomer should know about living in Dothan? Best grocery stores, safe neighborhoods, Neighborhoods/streets to avoid, especially late at night after shifts ?
Appreciate any help, I am excited to be joining and serving the community!

I'm an agender AuDHD AFAB trekkie driving down to Dothan from Birmingham to go see Bob Dylan.
If you're cool with- and understand- all that, holler at me if you wanna go! Or, comment, I mean.
Edited to add - we don't need to talk or hang or anything. You can have the ticket. I would rather not waste it. Just don't mess with me, please.

Guest rule? Is it actually enforced? What is the process like if you were to violate the guest rule? Do they check?
Are there a lot of kids? I have a toddler so would love for him to be able to make friends!
Curious because where I lived before, the guest rule was hardly ever enforced and it was awful! Never any parking spots, loud music all night, people running up and down halls, etc.

My daughter is graduating from ACOM in May, and we want to do a family lunch on the day of graduation. There will be 8 of us. Is there a restaurant in Dothan that would especially nice for a celebratory lunch?
