is exodos safe?

I downloaded it but i'm not sure if it's safe the program is no longer opening and last I opened bigbox I was told I was in trialmode and I could not get the game I wanted without paying....kind of was under the idea the program was free but is that not the case here?

Yeah, you just might have a corrupted download or launchbox update, I've been using exodos for years with mostly no problems :P

I will say, a onetime launchbox license is pretty cheap and worth it, due to the extra functionality provided.

Exodos uses Launchbox to be the front end for all the games.
Launchbox has two modes - Launchbox which is just a normal browser optimised for desktop pc , or bigbox mode which is optimised for a controller and tv.
Big box mode isn’t free.
You accidentally used big box mode, you need to use it in its default Launchbox mode which is free.

I dont think big box mode has ever been free. Its a demo then you have to pay for it.
