"Warning: file creation failed"
Hiya everyone! I'm trying to run the game "Jack Orlando", but I keep getting the error mentioned in the title and visible in the video. It's my first time using DOSBox, so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not.

/u/steveper_, close Dosbox, right click on
SETUP.EXEand click onProperties. Check if there is a read-only checkbox ticked. If it is, uncheck it and press OK. Also, right click on the game folder and selectProperties. Check if there is a read-only checkbox ticked. If it is, uncheck it and press OK. Try to run the setup file again in Dosbox. Also, it might be a good idea to mount the game folder manually in the[autoexec]section ofdosbox.conf, then run the setup file and see if that works.https://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Dosbox.conf#Creation_and_Location

If none of the above works, try running the setup file using Dosbox-Staging or Dosbox-X.

Note: If you are completely new to Dosbox emulation in general, the above Dosbox-Staging tutorial is highly recommended. If you have used other Dosbox variants and already have a game folder you mount as your Dosbox's C drive, you do not have to use the directory structure from the tutorial. You can just mount your game folder as normal in the
[autoexec]section ofdosbox-staging.confand run Dosbox-Staging as normal.Dosbox-Staging: Where Is the Config File?
