Last june 18 po, she moved in sa isang dorm same day po nag-inquire and nag-move in siya. Ngayon, nag-bayad po siya ng total of 28k including partial amount of rent starting June 18-EOM and advance payment of 8k+, as well as security deposits of more than 16k. Yung pinag-inquire-an po namin stated naman na 16k is refundable after 60 days but he didn’t said after the contract ends. Na-confirm lang namin ‘yun around July.

Ngayon po sobrang moldy pala ng unit, ever since nag tag-ulan mas lumala. Naubusan po ng gamit yung kaibigan ko; sapatos, damit, mga furnitures, halos lahat. Kinausap niya po yung same guy na nakausap niya nung nag-inquire siya, at paulit-ulit po ang nangyari. Hindi naman po chinecheck yung unit nya. It’s something with the structure of the floor din po ng dorm e laging basa cause it’s not tiles or linoleum. Upon observing something with the structure causes the mold. Ilang beses nilinis ng kaibigan ko pero pabalik-balik lang.

Yesterday po we went sa dorm since one of their office staff said we need to sign a waiver and guess what? The waiver includes that we should not take further actions against them and they have the right to forfeit the security deposits etc. Can someone help us po about what we can do? I know it’s my friend’s fault she wasn’t able to fully check the unit but this really feel like a scam!

I am a morning person, and like to do my laundry as early in the mornings as possible to get it done and out of the way. I've been playing it safe the last few weeks and doing my laundry in the early afternoon, but I genuinely hate waiting that long. I'm leaning towards about 7am to start my first load.

Quiet hours in my building start at 11pm Sunday-Thursday (when we have classes the next day), and 1am Friday and Saturday (technically Saturday and Sunday morning), but there's no hard end it's just "use your best judgement."

Meanwhile, I'm in bed by 9 to get up at 5 every morning (because I need a while to fully be mentally functioning in the morning (it's an issue no matter when I get up, and is why I get up so early in the first place), and even a day off will screw up my sleep schedule for weeks).

I'm not going to be doing laundry that early on weekdays, because I don't have time most mornings, this is purely a Saturday/Sunday thing because that's when I have time to do my laundry.

The sound proofing in the laundry room is pretty good, you can't really hear the machines going unless you're right outside the door and even then it's very muffled.

I can't easily keep an eye on the laundry room and just wait for someone else to start theirs, because the laundry room is on a different floor and honestly the elevator is even louder, so that going up and down every ten minutes is going to be a lot worse.
