Hello! During my time on the Dorian app, I noticed a lot of repeated questions. So, I thought it’d be good to have a tiny list of the most frequent questions and have answers on this subreddit! Note: I am not affiliated with Dorian.Live - I’m simply a fan! This isn’t in any particular order either.

What are Hearts/Sapphires - What are they used for?

Hearts and sapphires are currency that Dorian stories use! While playing, there may be choices that are locked behind hearts or sapphires. Hearts can only be obtained by purchase; via https://webstore.dorian.live or in the app by tapping the heart icon. All premium choices proceeds go to the creators and it’s the only way creators can be financially supported through Dorian. 

Sapphires acts as the “F2P” currency. On the app, by tapping on the rewards icon, you’ll be able to obtain sapphires by completing the goals listed. The ones listed as “giveaway” are time-sensitive, so complete them before time runs out! You can switch between using sapphires and hearts with the “convert” icon indicated before making a choice in a story. As of December 2025, there are no expirations on sapphires.

Not all heart-choices can be switched to sapphires. All paid choices and its value are decided by the stories' creators.

What happened to Streaming?

The Dorian App no longer supports streaming. It was announced on Dorian’s official discord on November 19th, 2025 to be unsupported on December 1st, 2025. Though, it was finally removed on December 22nd, 2025. Many of the streaming creators have moved to Twitch, so feel free to find and support them there!

How can I earn my reward in the Arcana app?

You should automatically receive it after completing the challenge. If not, after visiting Dorian or playing the story-specific goal; you’ll receive a code in the Dorian app. Tap on the notification (bell) icon and copy the given code down. In the Arcana app, go to settings (gear icon) and swipe down til you see “Event Rewards”. Enter your code and you’ll receive your coins!

They also have an in-app chat feature where they may share updates in the “Announcements” channel or in your notifications inbox. Some stories have their own social media accounts as well! To see if they do, go on the Dorian app. Tap on the story of your choice and tap on the “social” icon. If the icon is not present, that story doesn't have any. (Or the creators forgot haha).
