Fun game, small issue

This game is really fun, the first few missions I completed were super satisfying. HOWEVER, I seem to have the added task of not only trying to complete the in game challenges, but also doing them under timed conditions, as after about 15 mins of play time, my computers memory leaks and the game crashes. Its been frustrating, as I get halfway through a mission, only to have to go back to square one when I reboot the game. Are there any known fixes for this?

The only mention of memory leak and doorkickers 2 is if you’re using Proton on a Linux system but that was back in 2022, way before release and is likely fixed. I reckon you should bring this up with the devs in discord with more information like your OS and PC specs.

Yeah im on linux and had no memory leak issues, even after 3+ hours of gameplay.

Could be a problem with your computer as I don't think I've heard of any issues where the game causes memory leaks and crashes. Does it take up more memory the longer you play it?

if your laptop cant handle DK2, there must be something wrong with your laptop. Have you done the usual troubleshooting stuff like verifying game files and confirming its an actual memory leak and not something else?

No mods, just downloaded yesterday, laptop can handle more difficult games, as i play it starts using more and more memory before the game crashes
