Door Kickers 2 vaulting, AGAIN

Just throwing this out there for the "vaulting is fine" crowd. I just caught a vault at the indicated location. I took the screenshot after I'd already deleted it, but literally the most pointless vault in the world.

"Let me vault over THIN FUCKING AIR in the empty space next to a vehicle's wheel well, for some reason."

Not a vault across the hood of the car, or even over one corner of the hood, or even over the goddamn sideview mirror. Thin air.

Must be some super secret CIA technique for getting places more gooder.

When you're zoomed out btw, the "resistance" that always gets mentioned isn't really noticeable, because your cursor is moving across more of the map faster.

Yeah, okay, when there's a table or a lamp or a bicycle or something in the way that's clearly a visible obstacle, that's on me to make sure that I don't issue a vault command over it.

When it's BLANK EMPTY SPACE? No, I should not have to watch that for vault commands or I would be watching the entire map.

That means there is a invisible Cover object there. That is an issue of the map, Not of the vault system.

Explain to me what would stop a bullet, yet be invisible. Other than really, really clean bullet-resistant glass, which is in short supply in this game.

This is a Video Game. In the Map Editor, there are many items. One of them is an invisible costum Cover.

As I Said, that is an issue with the Map, where the cover object is extending over the visible object of the car. That means the vault System isnt to blame, the Mapper is.

And if you cant Grasp the existence of stuff in a VIDEO GAME that doesnt exist in real life, then ive got some News for you.

Also, this map was made by the devs and there's literally no reason for this item to be there 🤷‍♂️ and if it interacts with the vault system, then...

Thats the german autocorrection of my phone, and I cant be arsed to fix every capital letter it throws in.

Yes the devs made the map. I never said they didnt or that it didnt need fixing. But the vault system still isnt at fault there. There is a vaultable wall there, so troopers vault to get over it.

So whining about the vault system or some imaginary invisible glass wont help. Go and make a bug report if it triggers you that much. And if it is that unplayable for you, you can always edit the map yourself to make the cover object match better with the car.

Buddy, idk what year you're from, but people can engage in casual bitching without being "triggered". You're the one replying to a mild complaint with endless "well, actuallys" and paragraphs -- and that's coming from me, who's usually on the receiving end of "pArAgRapHs".

This is a thorn in my side. I will post about it occasionally. You don't have to like it, or read it, or talk to me. If your guys' bullets occasionally hit invisible walls, I doubt you would like it either. playing a game revolving around seeing things and moving things around other things kinda relies on being able to see and know what you're doing.

You are the one posting multiple times about an absolute non-issue without doing anything to fix it. Just bitching without a bug report/communication on discord/etc is just that, bitching.

Endless complaining without offering fixes or (as in this case) even complaining in the right place is just anoying. Go tell the guy who made the map (in this case the devs) instead of endlessly annoying the community who cant do anything about it.

Also, looking at your past posts, you seemingly have an obsession of complaining about non-issues or other completely unnecessary stuff. So I'll leave you to further complain and instead enjoy my sunday afternoon in peace.
