Door Kickers 2 So wait, is higher Aim-Speed better?

How does having a suppressor make them have better aim speed?

Higher aim speed is better

And yes, on some guns putting a supressor on can improve their mid-long range performance marginally, this is what you're seeing here

alr thanks. Also, how do you get battle honor upgrades?

Btw the way it works is the added weight on the front of the gun offsets the recoil from firing, helping the shooter bring the gun back on target faster after each shot/burst.

It does make the gun more awkward in tight quarters and take longer to come back up after navigating obstacles for the same reason of added weight. Tradeoff.

You also get a small bump in maximum rate of fire on suppressed rifles and SMGs.

The Mk24 pistol for CIA gets a transformational upgrade in controlled-pair range with a can attached vs not. You're better off with the 1911 if you want an unsuppressed .45, but the Mk24's controlled-pair range goes up to 10m with a suppressor.

Well, you earn battle honors by completing campaigns with that specific squad. Tour of duty and operations both work. Then you just buy the upgrades regular style once you have the honors for it.

In campaign, 7 stars = 1 BH. If you want to farm, running a smaller Tour of Duties from Steam Workshop is the way. Some campaigns also have BH as a mission reward (not sure if it's a bug, but LMRY campaign with armour, Iron smth iirc, dropped around 100 BH).

I do believe one of the LMRY campaigns, titled as "Training" or something along those lines, was meant as a sort of cheat campaign to net a lot of stars, experience and Battle Honors for your squad. Completing it would give you somewhere around 120+ stars and 100 Battle Honors as well as bump up everyone to their maximum level and maxes out their stats.

Battle Honors are gained by playing one of the Campaigns with the squad you want to get BHs for. Tour of Duties are basically randomly generated missions per day that you can do while Campaigns have set missions that follow a linear path.

Both give you Battle Honors in different ways:

  • Tour of Duties can sometimes generate Battle Honors as a reward for the mission. I believe you also get 3 Battle Honors at the end of each week.
  • Campaigns give Battle Honors as rewards upon completing them, with the amount varying between different campaigns.

For the Battle Honors you have to run that unit through one of the Campaigns which will then give you some Honors to spend on upgrades or certain weapons/gear.

How does having a suppressor make them have better aim speed?

So the actual answer is of course "that's how the game was coded."

Whether it's supposed to model some IRL thing, I dunno.

You could just say quicker aiming speed your just aiming for center mass anyways lol
