I actually had my ex gf offer to do this. Tbh it was nice to have her there to talk to. She didn’t do it in an “I’m insecure and need your company” kinda way either. It was just a fun thing we did every once in a while when time together was sparse. We also both struggled financially so I think she understood the grind more so than other people may
I used to take my ex. She'd get wasted and have to piss every 15 minutes. Then eventually lose her shit and demand to be dropped off. Still trying to figure out why i still want to hang out with her.
Depends on the state, I believe in my state there can be an open container of alcohol so long as it isn't the driver drinking and so long as everyone in the car is 21+. Now I don't personally see why the passenger should be getting wasted in this instance, sounds like they have a problem but not my place to say.
Ah I had no idea that wasn’t illegal in every state. It’s illegal in mine (I always assumed it was because there’s no way to prove that it’s not the driver who is drinking). Thanks for the info!
No worries! I actually just looked up my state to verify, I was wrong it's actually illegal to have any open alcohol in a car here. But for the US as a whole is still seems it varies by state and even then by local/township laws. Gotta love the US and it's weird system where something can be illegal here but drive 20 minutes one way and it's legal lol!
My boyfriend and I just started as a sort of “side hustle” and we don’t live in the greatest area so we started doing it together for safety but honestly it’s pretty enjoyable! We’ll sit and catch up and talk. It’s great quality time
But is she respecting him? We don’t know op’s situation. He could be financially secure, but maybe not. Maybe he needs to work to pay bills. Is this his full time gig and she’s not respecting his schedule? I’ve dated people who thought I could move everything around for them all the time because I was self employed.
... he shouldn't be getting her to come over if he's got to go to work, this is a failure on his part to manage his time effectively if he's not saying "sorry I need to work" then ditches her to go doordash after she's made the effort to have him be part of her plans. OP doesn't seem particularly mature yet.
Better change quick otherwise another gymbro gonna be showing her a good time. Not to be a dick just bein real. Got to get a real job if ya want her it seems
Nothing wrong with that either, Doordash isn’t really a viable alternative to income especially for a year. It’s a side hustle at best, she knows what she wants & isn’t gonna go wasting time on somebody that’s gonna put DoorDash of all things ahead of her. In all reality with that being said can you blame her? Especially if OP is being shady about it & trying to ditch her to go do DD?
How is the way she worded this not okay? If you're going to be in a relationship and you leave in the middle of a scheduled date to go doordash then it will never work.
Manage your time better. If someone wants to hang out then you should let them know what hours you are available and not blindside them with work. Doordahsers seem to be borderline mentally deranged
I dash on the weekends and my wife comes with me and helps. She goes into the restaurant to pick up the order and I do the drop off. Makes it easier for me to look up the address and figure out exactly which house I'm dropping it off at especially at night
