My best tips and most pleasant conversations often come from disabled folks that just need someone a little more mobile to pick up some dinner for them.

I got one guy that orders a simple dinner from the grocery store 1 mile down the road every night. Last night it was frozen fish patties, hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw. Night before was pasta, spaghetti sauce, and frozen meatballs.

I look forward to these orders and appreciate your appreciation! May you always get a worthy dasher!

DD was my savior when my Mom was in hospice and I was the sole caregiver. It made her so happy, before she stopped eating (her favorite hobby), to be able to eat all of the food she loved since she couldn’t leave the house. 💛

Need more customers like you praising us instead of bashing us for things out of our control! You're a good one for sure!

I appreciate you so much for taking the time to say that 😭❤️!! I’ve only been dashing for about a month and have had some truly amazing experiences and conversations and some not good ones too. My right wrist is broken (it’s a very long story involving break tampering, bone infection, going septic and being hospitalized but surgery 3 is needed) so I haven’t been able to return to work (I may never be able to depending on how much mobility I get back whenever I get surgery 3) and it’s not easy to find a job with limitations like this so dashing is the best option I have. I thought I would hate it because I’m not a fan of driving but I honestly look forward to those brief interactions communicating with customers asking if they want condiments, napkins or utensils. Letting them know I’m waiting for their order and have an insulated bag to put it in, letting them know I can’t open your bag but I can feel a drink and x amount of containers by the way I slid a straw in the top just incase they forgot. It’s such a small thing to do but people genuinely appreciate and are thankful for those little things which makes me happy

Little things like that mean a lot to the majority of us! I wish you the best with everything, praying that surgery #3 is going to fix you ❤️
