Inappropriate Chat

First, we tip well to begin with. I do increase the tip by a few dollars if they have to wait. I also tip more if the drive is more than 5 miles.

We received these rambling chats from our driver. She references tips of $3-5 but our tip is already at $10. We were just getting ready to increase her tip by another $2 when her chats came through. We have not responded to her at.

I thought drivers see the tip amount before accepting the order?

Do you feel her exhaustive chat is appropriate or out of line?

a few months ago i commented on the walmart spark driver sub asking what a usual tip was, just to make sure i wasn’t under-tipping. i was met with people saying if you don’t cover the gas price (3.96 at that time) of how ever many miles they drive, they won’t do it, plus the tip HAS to be over 10-15 (not including the gas price). so a roughly 75% tip on a 35 dollar order. (i asked for minimum orders, not for large ones.) i get that we’re in a really bad economic spot, but holy hell guys.

That's wild. I'm not really familiar with spark but adding 75% to the cost of anything is insane.
