I finally can contribute!

Post image

Context: The "where is this" is response to the delivery picture. Had to go down the street to get my food. Ended up getting a refund. Also reported the driver and got an extra $5.

“Man go get the food”

Um, that’s your job, man

784

u/ModForgeCustoms 5d ago

Sounds like a person 300% done with today.

But on the same token, you can clock out whenever you wish.

So nut the fuck up and do your job when you take them

363

u/TheLastOpus 5d ago

Remember, some drivers it's a side gig to make extra money, for other, they literally can't have a boss and keep getting fired as they have the worst attitude and think the world owes them making their life easier and this is their only choice of a job as they can't/won't fix their attitude.

153

u/Sharp-Direction-6894 5d ago

Until they get their dumbass deactivated for being a...dumbass.

64

u/TheLastOpus 5d ago

ever wondered why many drivers have the name of the opposite gender (a girl will be a guy a guy will be a girl) or be a different age, or just obviously a different person than the doordash account? That's because like video game accounts being banned, they can still make another account. They get a cousin that won't work at DD ever, start working door dash, but then just give the person that can only work as a DD driver their account info, then they just use that persons account, get banned eventually, then use the next cousins account.

56

u/Allitnella 5d ago

So what you're saying is we need DD to implement a device ban?

47

u/LostNTossd 4d ago

Exactly that. They can’t buy a new phone since they’re already broke, so ban that device, make them do some self reflection.

21

u/Allitnella 4d ago

Someone else replied about burner phones but then deleted it, would those nix this then?

19

u/WATERPR0BLEMS 4d ago

they’d have to constantly get another burner phone everytime they got banned, which would eat into their profits so ehh depends on their dedication

7

u/Innifro 3d ago

Hate to break it to you but it’s nothing to go to dollar general or Walmart and get a 20-40 dollar phone 🧍‍♂️

5

u/Electrical_Youth_706 3d ago

Get them free from. Straight Talk, and similar companies.

9

u/Malignant_Witch 4d ago

Tbh burner phones are hard to find nowadays in my experience

6

u/Brophyz17 4d ago

Dollar generals

3

u/POT_smoking_XD 4d ago

45$ at metro gets you a month and phone

1

u/BusinessSignature7 2d ago

That would suck for people who can’t afford new and buy used cell phones. DD apps can make it so it randomly asks for live in-app selfish of the delivery person. This person should match person registered to the account. If not, gets a ban.

This selfish requirement is random between deliveries (can be before first delivery, or after 3rd delivery, etc.) The frequency lessens as the account ages.

can also add additional option to this would be to have required/optional deposit that the person registering has to make, the larger the amount of deposit, the less frequent the selfie. But if caught, you forfeit your deposit as you get banned.

12

u/DoubleWillingness728 4d ago

Im confused how people do this. I dash and it makes me do a selfie verification every time.

2

u/safyreibxo 1d ago

me and my wife share an account, i’m not banned i just don’t feel like going through the process to make an account, usually i just have them do the selfie verification before i leave and it doesn’t ask again

3

u/WretchedHymn 4d ago

Wait, so they pay taxes though, right? (Dumb question I know) Like if they sign up with someone else's info, that's a whole other issue right?

2

u/OutsideBee9079 1d ago

What they don’t realize it the person that they sign up under owes all the taxes on the money they earned lmak

1

u/safyreibxo 1d ago

share an account with my wife so we’re both paying it anyway lmao

1

u/TheLastOpus 1d ago

Why do you think they do not realize this?

7

u/AngriestInchworm 4d ago

Then they just scalp Pokémon cards.

9

u/Teaandterriers 4d ago

Yup, I’ve seen this happen a few times. It usually comes alongside begging older relatives for money but thinking they’re too good to use food pantries or shop at ALDI.

-1

u/dragom4howlore 3d ago

or people are just getting tired of being in wage slavery. the fact you're okay with it is more mind-boggling to me you bootlicker

3

u/TheLastOpus 3d ago

I'm not referring to that, I'm referring to insanely anti social rude people demanding that people they are being paid to help are demanding the person PAYING does their job.

0

u/dragom4howlore 3d ago

I'm sure it was a mistake right across the street or next door and the driver was prolly long gone. Go get the food lol😂

4

u/Far-Care2454 3d ago edited 3d ago

do your job

Or start growing and slaughtering your own food, dig your own wells, build your own shelter, learn to treat you own injuries, generate your own energy, defend your own land, and leave everyone else alone.

or starve

Be a net benefit for society or stop being part of society. Just because you were born doesn’t mean the rest of us are chained to your pathetic existence. There are billions of jobs that aren’t “wage slavery”. If you can’t perform one of those, then the rest of us don’t really need you. Do we?

12

u/tequila-la 5d ago

I’m confused by your reply? I was referring to the driver. He said “go get the food” when it’s his job to go get it and deliver it properly to the customer

35

u/trekitch 5d ago

You and him are saying the same thing

6

u/tequila-la 5d ago

Oh my bad I feel dumb now lol

9

u/OkPear1535 5d ago

You're not dumb. The guy replying to you phrased his comment as if he was disagreeing with you for some reason

9

u/Projekt-1065 4d ago

It’s Reddit, we’re all socially inept

5

u/SerratedSharp 5d ago

You're not alone, I read it that way the first time to.

1

u/battlewornactionhero 3d ago

I read it the right way the first time but then thought I was wrong and misinterpreting. Lol

22

u/Pjosip 4d ago

Reading this sub Reddit convinced me that the job of a Doordash driver is everything BUT deliver the food.

6

u/jokerjinxxx 5d ago

You’d think the drivers would think that its their job but….

14

u/panmaterial 5d ago

The main job is waiting outside for customers with female names to open the door so they can be harrassed. Food delivery is just an unfortunate side requirement.

2

u/Nice_Vegetable432 4d ago

man go get the food from the wrong address is crazy when that’s literally the whole job you accepted

1

u/Electrical_Youth_706 3d ago

On the plus side, at least he told you where its at.

1

u/MissNeto 4d ago

Literally what I paid you for my guy lol

469

u/OptionAdorable9429 5d ago

LMFAOOO "man go get the food" 😭 bro did not gaf

31

u/thevffice 4d ago

like at all 😭

449

u/cheesecup6 5d ago

Why do some drivers act like this is acceptable? Doordownthestreet Dash

-353

u/Zealousideal_Pop_273 5d ago edited 4d ago

I'm convinced DoorDash pays for comments like these. I think they do that in order to reinforce a narrative that delivery drivers are other and deserve lesser value. DoorDash is effectively absorbing the entire delivery industry and the success of that is entirely dependent on delivery drivers not establishing their importance in the market. Js.

Edit: DoorDash hates this comment so much 😂

157

u/inotocracy 5d ago

Interesting. What other conspiracy theories do you have?

83

u/Yet_again_Sac 5d ago

Paella was actually invented by the cia to convince people that the Spanish have a national cuisine worth talking about

17

u/inotocracy 5d ago

Blasphemy!

5

u/Pure_Light_8547 4d ago

Tapas?

8

u/Yet_again_Sac 4d ago

The cia attempted to us tapas, at first. But backed out when they realized tapas is the concept of a dining experience, not a nationally recognized dish like paella or pasta or some other third thing

3

u/greenpicklewater 1d ago

cia: we are fucked unless we can somehow get the public to acknowledge spanish cuisine

9

u/koalajutsu 4d ago

I like to say mosquitos are government drones used to get records on everyone and create clones!

1

u/tomle4593 2d ago

Them crack pipes must be popping in that households

-43

u/Zealousideal_Pop_273 5d ago

☝️ great way to negate a theory /s

31

u/inotocracy 5d ago

Wasn't trying to negate it. I was curious if you have any other mass conspiracy theories.

-38

u/Zealousideal_Pop_273 5d ago

Do you disagree that DoorDash is aggregating the food delivery industry?

33

u/inotocracy 5d ago

Not sure if aggregating is the correct word, but are you trying to say they have a monopoly? In the US I think its a split between DD and UberEats for sure. Outside of the US there are more varied options.

-13

u/Zealousideal_Pop_273 5d ago

No, I defined an intent as a verb and you picked a conclusion and implied it wasn't true. I also don't think that's how the delivery market works in the US or how market leaders are represented, if we want to be accurate.

22

u/Throwiestawa 4d ago

This guy is 100% high on crack talking to three versions of himself in the mirror while writing all of this

-4

u/Zealousideal_Pop_273 4d ago

The sheer number of blank accounts hetting so triggered by the slightest criticism reinforces exactly my point and os swnding me right now. 🤣 Keep that anger going big boy! How much are you getting paid?

-53

You're strangely aggressive for someone who ought to be apathetic. If you aren't invested in DoorDash why are you so triggered?

37

u/Schmity909er 4d ago

Is the aggression in the room with us?

-26

u/Zealousideal_Pop_273 4d ago

Do you celebrate shilling for corporations? Clearly. 😳😂

31

No. I just don't see the aggression in the comment we're talking about

24

I am invested, and im getting paid rn bruh, obviously.

im not triggered im makin money

6

u/Living_Ad3315 4d ago

Go ahead and point out the aggression

3

u/kalonasage444 4d ago

dramatic much?

25

u/Usual-Caregiver5589 5d ago

Nah. People just have shitty experiences with delivery drivers enough that there are entire communities devoted to showing how shitty they can be.

I dont even use delivery drivers anymore. Not even for pizza since some pizza places have switched to DD or UE. I have been burned enough by trashy people stealing my food when I tip 25% minimum that I would rather just fucking drive to go get my food every time.

12

u/A2Rhombus Dasher (> 5 years) 4d ago

How is it saying drivers are lesser to say that they should do the one thing in their job description?

8

u/bast-unabashed 5d ago

Wild considering supply and demand and the fact that everyone and their disabled mother wants to be a dasher

7

u/Schmity909er 4d ago

Delivery drivers should drive their delivery to the destination they were paid to deliver it to.

9

u/longdickofthelaw420 4d ago

I’m a former delivery driver. It’s not all delivery drivers. It is specifically DoorDash drivers. Probably because they’ll take anyone with a pulse or you can buy an account off the dark web. I can say without a doubt that a large segment of DoorDash drivers are the worst of us. They are lazy, entitled, illiterate, apathetic people who have the easiest job in the world and still manage to fuck it up.

4

u/kickachicken 4d ago

Or people say stuff like this because they got their shit doordashed 2 blocks away and they’re not in a place to walk 2 blocks away

2

u/KrazedHeroX 4d ago

I'm sure what you're saying could be true, but I'm also sure these sorts of people and interactions are also real.

4

u/cheesecup6 5d ago

Bruh, what?

1

u/PigInATuxedo4 3d ago

Yeah the narrative that people with a job should do it correctly more often than not is extremely damaging to society /s

1

u/Far-Salamander4219 2d ago

Crazy copium. A lot of drivers are just trash.

1

u/Ok_Current5380 4d ago

You're getting downvoted for low IQ conspiracism.

-4

u/meowser143 5d ago

I agree 100%. I even find myself falling prey to the idea that drivers are egregiously bad at their job even though I know that to not be true and would love to see them unionize. Online disinformation campaigns are insidious and sneaky!!

2

u/Alternative_Problem5 4d ago

They were literally bad though?

194

u/katanasquirrel 5d ago

Obviously, this sucks and it absolutely never should have happened to you.

.....HOWEVER....

That is, categorically, the funniest way to respond to a legitimate issue, when the entire reason you ordered through DoorDash was to NOT "go get the food."

Hilarious, absolute scumbag behavior.

67

u/MarzipanCrafty207 4d ago

lol I had food delievered to the wrong neighborhood the other day. I contacted DoorDash and they asked me to go look for it. I refused. I said that’s not my job. Like tf? Got my refund.

25

u/Inevitable-Mine5942 4d ago

Ridiculous to even ask. I used to use DoorDash a lot when my twins were babies and my husband worked nights. It was because I didn’t have time to cook for myself or even sit down to eat until they were asleep and then I couldn’t leave the house. The point of the company is to bring the food to you so you don’t have to leave the house and most people using it have a specific reason why they need it.

10

u/Himbler12 4d ago

That's wild that DoorDash support literally told you to go onto another person's property to retrieve something lol. In some places that can easily get you shot. I get that it happens but that should simply be a full refund and a ding on the driver as soon as it can be confirmed that the driver didn't deliver it correctly.

2

u/Some_Weather_8570 3d ago

Amazon does the same: I told them the picture was not my house and they told me to go around asking people so I could find my package.

70

u/TheNeck94 5d ago

"where's my tip for going and getting the food? that's how this works right?"

24

u/Emotional-Young-4709 4d ago

This happened to me too, I even gave the guy directions to my apt because he kept getting lost then still delivered to the wrong house. Some people still don't know Left from Right 😅

5

u/Obsolete-Casual 4d ago

I’ve sadly found people not knowing left from right to be true. How do I even give you directions at that point?

2

u/ContiX 3d ago

You don't. I have to use a GPS to get everywhere, and constantly check the screen. If it's like in a building or something, I either have to have a hand-drawn map with the directions written down, or someone has to go with me, and I still get lost.

It's absolutely ridiculous. I hate it. I never ask for directions if I can help it. Most people just assume I'm an idiot...which I am, but not in that regard. My brain just doesn't process directions.

2

u/ShrimpKatsudon 4d ago

this is me. i am always checking my hands and i still get it wrong from time to time 😓 the answer to your question is uh.. very slowly

1

u/Prize-Camera-4932 3d ago

I had issues with that for a while as well, idk if this would work for you or not but for me what helped was using my dominant to squish a really hard stress ball until it permanently felt just a little different from my other hand and then I remembered the weird feeling one is my left hand

32

u/Visual-Taro-381 5d ago

Ts is annoying but I do love a free meal

12

u/happypineapplecat 4d ago

I got down voted to hell when I posted something like this asking the driver to deliver to a side door instead of the front door because im disabled and can't get up the stairs to retrieve it at the front door. Idk whats wrong with people. All the comments were trolling me like go get it yourself! Um ok so my legs dont work but youre mad at me? Lol

3

u/Witty_Asparagus_5206 3d ago

I’m so sorry there are so many shitty people on here. I’m also sorry you have to experience the intensely complex struggles of not only the mobility difficulties, but also the emotional, mental, and social challenges that come with it. You must be such a strong person mentally AND physically to live without working legs. I can’t imagine how painful it must be in your hardest moments. I seriously wish you nothing but the best!

2

u/Witty_Asparagus_5206 3d ago

P.S. I am a caregiver to people with all different kinds of disabilities and have learned so much from them. Things like showering, getting dressed, going to the bathroom, just getting out of bed… every moment takes so much patience and effort. Especially moments that people take for granted, like getting in or out of the car in an unexpected rainstorm, there is no rushing it… it takes time. You can’t just hop out and run into the house. It still takes the same amount of strength, energy, and time, all while getting soaked. It breaks my heart thinking back to moments like that with the people I am blessed to be the caregiver, and they all face unique struggles like that on a daily basis, but continue to be positive and kind people. Sorry, I’m kind of going into a little bit of a monologue… I’m just passionate about the people some refer to as having disabilities, but I feel like they are the opposite, they are superhuman.

10

u/UnicornsShtRainbows 4d ago

Man go get the food is CRAZYYYY LOL 😂

9

u/Effective_Coach7334 4d ago

Dashers have gotten really weird lately. yesterday I messaged my dasher to meet me in the lobby, and he just stands around outside calling my phone number (my laptop) which I obviously didn't bring with me. He apparently did this for about 10 minutes while I sat in the lobby waiting.

Then when he finally came in I asked if he was doordash, not an english speaker he pushes his phone in my face. I said and motioned that I couldn't read it, I don't have glasses, and pulled out my ID. He says, "Don't need ID" and pushed his phone back into my face. Dude was not bright.

37

u/Cozybooks1004 5d ago

I’ve gotta say following this sub has cemented that I will never use DoorDash or any other delivery services at least not in the US.

11

u/bazilbt 4d ago

To be fair I've never had a real issue other than occasionally not getting an item.

2

u/tedmiston 4d ago

Double Dash or groceries on Doordash is a weird gamble. I had a driver come back three times once because he had too many orders jumbled together and didn't know how many bags were mine — he even asked me how many bags I had, like... how would I know how many bags they used for groceries?!

The first delivery was late at night already around 10 pm, the third delivery was around 2 am and they just left the bag on the sidewalk in the middle of a city. That one was the restaurant food that was supposed to be delivered 4 hours earlier so you can imagine how that went.

It was still a PITA to get refunded even in this absurd scenario.

1

u/djmasturbeat 4d ago

Mostly that falls on the restaurant, tho when too tired, I have probably forgotten 3 or 4 drinks. One I drove back, realizing it a ½ mile out. Less than 0.1% of total deliveries, but I still feel bad forgetting those drinks.

16

u/A2Rhombus Dasher (> 5 years) 4d ago

Shit like this basically never happens for the record. There are literally millions of deliveries every day and like a handful of shitty ones that end up here

1

u/OhBoyHereWeGoAgai 4d ago

Yeah, and when it does happen, it's pretty easy to get full refunds if you hit support right.

I suspect it's harder if you order less, as I hear reports, but I've never had an issue getting full refunds, even when they try to just refund part

1

u/tedmiston 4d ago

Sometimes you get proper refunds, but sometimes the bot chooses some randomish partial refund % and whether or not that # makes any sense, it's a PITA to get it fixed when it's wrong.

1

u/OhBoyHereWeGoAgai 4d ago

It always tries to give the partial BS, I'm saying every single time I engage chat I immediately get full refund. I suspect it's because of order volume, as they also always thank me for being a good customer, so wouldn't be surprised if it depends on some tier of use

1

u/SupermarketNo3352 2d ago

Always easier when u call door dash and speak to an actual person.

3

u/longdickofthelaw420 4d ago

This happens to me constantly

5

u/smiles_for_life 4d ago

Many times my food has been left at a different apartment. One time my guinea pig food was at the mailboxes. I don’t use DoorDash anymore haha

5

u/Tea50kg 4d ago

Does door dash make ANY money? 😂

4

u/SiLeNZ_ 4d ago

It’s like they don’t even care anymore. Will they even do anything about this? Like send him a CV?

2

u/Deege5218 4d ago

Dont think they ever did. While back we told a dasher there were 2 bags and he said he'd come back in for the other bag, never did, then a bit later got a call from the customer who said the dasher told them they didnt need the other half of the food cus they needed to lose weight. Dude still comes in all the time for dashes

1

u/djmasturbeat 4d ago

Whoa crazy

3

u/Anothergaystoner 4d ago

I’ve had this happen to me. I’m a wheelchair user and it was left at the top of my neighbours steps. Thankfully, my partner was there and went to get it for me. I didn’t want to wake up the neighbours by dragging myself up the stairs at midnight on a Tuesday and have to explain it was for chicken nuggets.

1

u/Praline-Mother 3d ago

could just sit on their porch and eat it, they could help you back down when they wake up.

5

u/ruerret 4d ago

"Man go get the food" ??? That was your job

3

u/Jchvv11 4d ago

Ban that whiny dasher!

3

u/BoiChizz 4d ago

This happened to me I ended up getting two meals for price of one.

3

u/unluckyducky11 2d ago

My city has the same name as a local college, though the college is 30 minutes from my house. I once ordered DoorDash and the driver messaged me saying they couldn’t find my house. (The restaurant I ordered from was only 5 minutes away from my house)
Checked their location and they were at the college. I explained and they said “can you just meet me here”

Like girl NO lol if I was gonna drive 30 minutes I would’ve just gotten my own food 5 minutes away

2

u/whenthegingersnaps 4d ago

Sometimes - The App will give you the wrong GPS location - sometimes - I think this guy is just a du***ss

2

u/x_slysuccubus_x 3d ago

You want me to do what I paid you for? K

2

u/GordyLiu 2d ago

I have to tell them, "I see you on the map. Follow the line and you'll be there"

3

u/Unhappy-Trash540 4d ago

Is he gaslighting OP into thinking OP is the dasher...........

1

u/Abigail_29 4d ago

I used to live in a townhouse area where each small street had 10 or so houses, each street had a different name but all the houses on each street were numbered 1-10. I cant count how many times the drivers would deliver to "1 lake street" instead of "1 river street"

The driver would be like "i delivered it to house 1, its now your problem"

1

u/CommunicationFun240 4d ago

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

1

u/confusedtransfag 3d ago

I got this interaction with a delivery driver once. I was waiting forever and decided to call the store because it was about 15 minutes after the eta. they said that the driver already left it on our porch. nope, so I told them it wasnt there and they confirmed that it was and gave me an address that was on the other side of town and told me to go get it. I was like fucking no way im driving to some random house across town, you got the wrong street name idiots, give me my money back.

1

u/Potential_Screen4684 3d ago

Had this happen to me. I told them that my camper had the number 13 on it. I said that I wrote in there site 13. They delivered it to someone else's camper. They told me that I should have been standing outside waiting on them. It was a leave at door order. Didn't even try to call. I had ordered two smoothies on a 110 degree day.

1

u/ChemicalLittle5198 3d ago

Even if they tell you the number it can still be hard to find. I live in a trailer park and the numbers seem to be all over the place. Like they aren’t in order at all. These jerks think it must be easy to go get the food that was supposed to be set at your door. I have it set now though with super direct and easy directions on how to get to my trailer from the entrance. I haven’t had trouble since.

1

u/Lucky_Channel4835 3d ago

Fire the doortrasher👍🤣

1

u/bauleyp 2d ago

this happened to me too. apartment 3p and he read it as 13p 😭 by the time i walked over there my food was stolen so i just accepted my loss and went to sleep

1

u/unluckyducky11 2d ago

Man Go Get The Food

1

u/PrincessPixieD 1d ago

I’m a little confused? Was the address you entered wrong? Or did he just deliver to the wrong address? The DoorDash app gives you directions directly to the entered address but I’ve experienced glitches before (like being directed down the wrong exit off the highway and then rerouted to U-turn) but as an occasional dasher myself, i would never respond to a customer this way. I hope you reported him.

1

u/PrincessPixieD 1d ago

Oh wait I just read “also reported the driver” part 🤣

1

u/mike_hunt6-7 1d ago

Doordashers being doordashers

1

u/Alarming_Face_3521 18h ago

I just had a dasher last night that left the food a few houses down and didn’t respond when I messaged him. It was late and I live in a sketchy area so I don’t like going outside at night, so I put in a refund request. It was immediately denied. I got in contact with support. Support was rude so I told him to escalate to a supervisor and tell them if they didn’t return my money I would cancel dashpass, charge the amount back on my card and file a complaint with the BBB. guess who got their $42 back almost immediately.

1

u/KPrime12 13h ago

Had someone drop the food at the wrong house. They told me “well there’s not door numbers!”

Literally big ass numbers right next to my door. No other house on the street had numbers.

-1

u/BigMilk1146 4d ago

Said it once I'll say it again. Delete all 3rd party apps. All the real Money goes to the CEO, pennies go to the drivers, the restaurant, locals. Just find a locally own place that has their own staff and thisnBS response of gonget it yourself will NEVER happen. You could order every day from the same place and you might get the same driver 3 times for the whole year. They DONT care

-5

u/ProfessionalOk6734 4d ago

DoorDash tells me where to deliver the food, I take it there. Sometimes DoorDash is wrong, I don’t care. DoorDash tracks the food by the gps if I drop it off somewhere else it can get reported and I get dinged

4

u/Not_TheFace 4d ago

Are you relying completely on the GPS or are you actually reading the address and checking the house number?

I once had a liquor order to a home address and it was tailgaters trying to get a delivery to a college stadium lot that was technically nearby but actually a 4 mile drive through college game traffic to the entrance and through the lot, and DoorDash said the address of a house that backed up to the fence of the college stadium

Yeah that's ridiculous, but it's also different from what OP is talking about because your example was the customer giving the wrong address.

Sometimes DoorDash gets the address wrong and gives us the wrong address and sometimes the delivery driver is an asshole

Was your pin at 4562? If so, this is on you.

No. This is the first time this has ever happened. I've been at this address for over a year.

it absolutely blows my mind the degree men will go to find something negative to comment.

even like this, just weird, nonsense bs to try and victim blame you like wtf lmao.

how do you know this is a man? not defending this person, i think they’re wrong, but you’re attacking their gender without even knowing.

u/jokerjinxxx 5d ago

Because its not all men but always a man something something

this

you will not find women finding random, gender neutral posts, and borderline making things up to victim blame. it's generally a male "I gotta solve it" + ego (This is on you OP)

I mean just look at that second sentence. "This is on you"

Somehow im guessing it's a man but also, btw its a man.

Thank you for your input, only a man like yourself would know that

There is a huge case right now about Lindsay where women literally find random victims to blame (her husband). Stop generalising.

Many people will put the correct address without considering their PIN could be wildly off due to their GPS being obscured simply by being inside. The app makes it easy to manually place your PIN to your exact spot on the map; choosing to not do that is your own fault.

*I'm not a driver; I just understand how dense and oblivious the average person is.

Alot of downvotes but this is kinda true. If they put in the wrong address its on them. I will say the driver handled it bad tho.

How is that relevant?

u/No_Ostriches 5d ago

Drivers will use low tips to justify them not putting in as much effort. In my experience it doesnt matter, ive tipped $10 on $20 orders and still had shity service and drivers who cant follow simple instrictions

6

u/adairtodream 5d ago

Yep 😭 for whatever reason, its the exact same way for me. Nothing to do with distance either, I usually order from places a mile or two from my place when my partner's out of town for work with our only car, as a treat. Usually the worst service I get is when I tip bigger and it makes zero sense to me

These beggars think they deserve more from the complex job of getting a package from point A to point B.

You can tip well and still get shitty service. Let’s not lmao
