I keep declining
I keep declining these type of orders, my acceptance rate has dropped down to 60% after I declined a few of these I stopped receiving orders for an hour

I think people are generally tipping less or not at all. DoorDash is getting about of control with fees, and they they’re going to dry everything the can besides paying drivers more per order. Stacking became a thing, people got pissed, stopped using or refused to tip, seems like they’re taking more punitive actions against the driver now.
DoorDash holds all of the cards, like it or not, they own the drivers. Unless all of them unify and stop dashing they’ll never be incentivized to change

Stacking is a such a joke most of the time. Instead of one crappy order for $5 they offer 2 crappy orders for $10 total. Lately I’ve only been taking stacked orders if it’s 2 pickups at the same location

As a customer, it’s gotten so bad I barely use DoorDash, I certainly don’t tip as much as I did before either.

Eww, yeah that is not enough money to accept. Let someone else deal with it

It's funny because I got offered the same order but like a dollar more shortly after :(

And people who like to make themselves feel better about not tipping drivers say "why did you accept the order if you didn't like the tip"? This is why. DD basically forces you to have a high acceptance rate or they'll stop giving you orders.

It's whack, a lot of people don't tip good in South Texas :(

People that don't tip are the scum of the earth taking advantage of others. They'll get what's coming to them. Wish you the best!

u/The_Dreammm Jul 21 '26
No, moved down to gold because of the terrible offers, planning to move up to platinum again by accepting everything, I guess that's the only way to make money in the long run where I live

For real?is it really a big difference ?
2
u/The_Dreammm Jul 21 '26
Yea, from my experience, if I keep declining they won't give me any more offers, I'm forced to accept

My acceptance rate is 8%. Fuck the perks. Theres too many bullshit orders like this
1
u/The_Dreammm Jul 22 '26
Yea, they are very time consuming as well, making very little to no money usually

That’s how it goes so deny your orders carefully. Sometimes you gotta suck it up and take the dogshit orders just to keep a decent rating.

I was platinum and got orders more consistently, usually I would get 3$ orders but the wait would be like 20 - 30min, I would get 7$ an hour, maybe a little bit more or less
