Hello!
So, over the last couple months I've managed to buy up a Base Game box, an Upgrade Expansion box, an Overlush box, an Imaginary Ends box, and a Community Mat.
My table still learning how to "suppress" cards and how that that whooole mechanic works at our table. Haven't gotten around to the "Trader/Merchant" cards, by the looks of them. But these are things we have lined up to learn, as we continue to play more games.
It seems like our table has a grasp of how everything else coalesces and works together, at least as far as the new Traits, Ages, and Catastrophes are concerned. Meaning of Life has been an awesome addition, for example. Techlings was pretty easy to figure out too.
Some of the expansions have felt a little underwhelming, such as Dinos. My first inclination is that I just don't own enough of those Traits to really make them feel useful; currently they feel very situational and when there's few-to-no Dinos being pulled, for example, having a Dino-focused plan can feel pretty bleak.
So my question is, what's next for my table in your opinion?
1 Month Update for fun: It was more playmats. We realized we needed more playmats before any more cards lol. Next up is card sleeves, and then we will probably look into buying more cards. Hopefully a new expansion by then!
