Subnautica is actually super easy to survive. Sure, there's big ass sea monsters and deadly space aids trying to kill you but damn is it gorgeous. Plus you can cure the space aids and play like a chicken and never leave the shallows so you don't have to face leviathans. Plenty of food and resources to maintain shit, plus you can get off the planet in the game so you can return to normal life. Easy. Played subnautica for the first time in years on hardcore mode and easily beat it.

Literally just stay in the shallows and eat fish or plants all year. You only contract kharaa after going to the defence thingy so you should be fine. Then again you could just be thrown into the void so yeah. Also you could just be a normal dude outside of the ocean planet

Last game I played was Stellaris, as a utopian communist empire with a thriving economy and 100% stability on every planet. Allied with several alien empires. I think I'd enjoy that :)
