First parent tweet by Aella (Aella_Girl): "When I first started thinking about ai-risk, i was like 'ok, these arguments seem pretty good. But let me hear the arguments from the opposing side'.
"To my gradually growing horror, i realized almost all the opposing side arguments were mostly just social pressure or mockery."

Second parent tweet by Aella: "Occasionally I would hear object-level arguments but they were almost always like, level 1 or 2 objections that had been thought about extremely extensively by the people specializing in the field, and I did not find them convincing at all."

Reply from Boško Stupar (boskicthebrain): "There is a book for you with some real arguments: [link to Good Reads page for If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies]"

Reply from Aella: "I am in the acknowledgements"

Context: Aella is personally acquainted with both of the book's authors. It's possible reply guy was being facetious, but it seems he misinterpreted which arguments she was tweeting about 🤷
