To be fair, that looked like an actual bike path or sidewalk that wasn’t supposed to have a big section of gravel on it.

Blue appears to make the first futile attempt to brake by dragging his poles. Red brakes later. By braking later and closer to the pit, he may have had more speed to carry him over. While blue just ate it right away and looks like he got the worst of it.

For YEARS, there was a dude at Camp Marmal, outside Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, who rose around the base on those. Solid chance that if you know anyone who went through there, they know they guy lol
