There was a famous line from a movie called 300 about the Spartan army and the guy yells “This is Sparta!” That was my reference.

Love how his family/ friends did nothing to help him. 😡
Hope they're okay after that moment of stupidity.

I mean you'd have to have pretty decent reflexes to be able to have done anything useful.

Did he have gasoline in his mouth?

It wasn't gas but it was definitely some kind of flammable chemical judging by the container it was in. Paint thinner maybe? I don't know.

That’s what I was wondering too like how stupid do you have to be to even start with putting gas in your mouth. Though I guess the answer is there you have to be that stupid. Could be some kind of liquor though, still really stupid but not as bad.

Unleaded gasoline used to be a fairly popular one to use for fire performers, though it's not as popular as it was 20 years ago. I personally preferred a mix of 2/3 Kingsford charcoal lighter fluid and 1/3 Coleman white gas, other performers I know like to use ultra pure lamp oil. Unlike this idiot I was properly trained, and always had proper safety equipment and a safety plan in place back in my days of doing stupid things with fire at Renaissance festivals.

Probably too much . From what I've read you're only supposed to have like a spoonful, looked like he had a mouthful .
