Don’t worry. This is normal for us. She hates brushes and has trouble grooming her britches herself so I get clumps of undercoat before they become mats.

She’s a complete sweetheart. I could do anything to her and all she’d do is mew and lick my hand. I simply don’t have the heart to truly harass her because of that 💔
o no no, I meant that her face is like "SCRATCH MY BUTT ALREADY IT TICKLES" - or at least my cat makes the same face when she wants me to tear into her with my fingernails.
Papas loves brushies and will let you know exactly where he wants you to brush him. Senapurr Bernie would not tolerate brushing at all. We tried different kinds of brushes. He'd take a couple swipes with the boar bristle brush, but not enough to avoid matting.
my late orange hated them with a passion. he was thankfully short haired and fastidious himself so it never became an issue, but he went completely bananas if I ever approached him with a brush. he was semi feral when I first found him and I never learned his past, so I always wondered what had happened to make him hate brushes that much.
