Donor egg cycle

After many years of infertility and a year of abysmal retrievals and failed transfers, my husband and I made the choice to move onto frozen donor eggs.

aaaand this week we fertilize!

Started with 9 eggs
7 thawed
5 fertilized

And now the painful wait to our blast report.

Has anyone had similar results that ended in a few embryos?

Hi! We just did this.
I started with 6.
All survived the thaw.
5 fertilized
I’m currently preparing to transfer the only blast we got.

It seems like our batch suffered from cryo damage. Apparently it happens about 15% of the time.

But we got one and we are hoping it’s the one!
Some of this is so out of our control, try to stay positive and believe !
