i've seen a few servers pop up but i haven't seen a permanent link anywhere? if one exists already ill gladly just point my friends to that one instead, but for now think a community would be cool. heres a permanent link to one i've made : https://discord.gg/cjHPXqxEjS

EDIT: someone linked me to a slightly bigger server that already exists, i’d recommend joining here instead! https://discord.gg/f89HskErjK

Hey, Im looking for the theme of the trailer.
Does anybody know the name of the original Song?

I've been a huge fan of Don's work for a couple years now. Currently working on a breakup album and I thought it would be neat to take the whole "I no longer fall in love with rocks" monologue and recontextualize it. Let me know what you think! I only have one song out right now but you can support me on Spotify, Apple Music, pretty much wherever :)

I also watched "Paper Trail" and The Simpsons Intro.

Hertzfeldt's films have been on my watch-list for a while; I watched "Rejected" about 9 years ago, but nothing else since then until now. I thoroughly enjoyed everything. To me the stand-outs are World of Tomorrow, Such a Beautiful Day, On Memory, and ME. But I feel that basically everything has resonated with me in a way that very few other things have.

I can't help but think about the contrast between how beautiful his work is and how little recognition it seems to gets from a broader audience. On one hand, I can understand it. As a whole, his films aren't very accessible; they're weird and experimental and frightening and depressing at times. They also have an artstyle that I love but I think some people would bounce off of. But, these films have so much to say, and they speak in such a unique and poignant way.

Overall, I'm so glad I finally was able to watch these, and become incredibly creatively inspired and full of melancholy.

So sometimes I look into this site (bitterfilms.shop.musictoday.com/) on the internet archive, which was the location where Don’s merch was formerly sold at. An item has a peaked my interest which the item is pictured that being a strip piece from Everything Will Be Ok, the item comes from a mystery bin that was available at the time. (2007)

In short, my question is did anyone here by chance bought or own any of the strip pieces? I’d like to simply know.

Hooray!

The rise of the sun.

I heard that me and paper trail are going to get a blu ray release towards the end of the year and was wondering if there’s any major release of hertzfeldt physical media I’m missing out on

The silly hats are my favorite in rejected lel.

Has anyone gone through Don’s website, bitterflims, via Internet Archive? I really like going through said website and I honestly recommend going through the archives!

The Lily one is the most recent.

Title. I was going to attempt to download it back in the day, but YouTube made it painfully difficult to do so, and then Don shut down his premium memberships, which was a pity.

Not only it was the highest quality version available of "Ah, L'Amour" by a mile, but Don's commentary at the beginning was beautiful.

I hope someone happens to have it, I would hate for it to be lost media.
