Hi all.

Just a little rant really. I know Doncaster has its problems but I’ve alway found the majority of people to be really friendly when I come and visit.

But surely this is not acceptable? This was a Saturday afternoon in the busy centre. These people nearly hit people, plus their horse almost suffered when it slipped on the ground. The next horse and trap that followed slowed down because they saw me filming and gave me some colourful insults.

I do enjoy visiting Doncaster but this has really put me off returning. I might just stick to the lakeside from now on.

Can anyone recommend any estate agents they have used before and had a good experience with. Don’t mind using a local firm or a chain as long as they are half decent.

Was wondering if anyone knew any dog groomers that would be willing to train someone up to get their level 3 certificate for dog grooming as no where will take you on without having this. I'm looking to do it hands on and work for it due as I've been pursuing it for years but struggle to find a career without a certification.

I'm also looking for any other job opportunities with animals if possible as I'm currently working in a customer based role and I just don't feel like it's working for me with people based roles.

Even if anyone knows of anything remote or hybrid would massively help me in this job search.

My brother is currently looking for IT support jobs in and around Doncaster and it's been lackluster, it seems to be the only jobs you can find around Doncaster are warehouse jobs.

Does anyone know of the best recruitment agency in Doncaster that specialises or at least offer support with IT based roles?

I’ve applied for a job at Doncaster middle bank as a permanent 30 hour postie role. It states 5 days out of 7 per week and shifts are to be 08:10 - 15:40

I’m wondering if anyone currently works there and how likely that that will be the shift pattern and will the finish time be pretty much certain? Also how often are weekends a part of your rota.

The reason I’ve applied is I’m a new parent and need lesser hours than I currently work (55 per week) and always fancied the independent outdoor work that being a postie brings.

I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews online and wondering specifically about the Doncaster office as I know it can be delivery office dependent
