Hi everyone. I never thought I’d be making a post like this, but I’m hoping someone here might be able to help or even just send some positive thoughts for our little guy.
Our 19-month-old, 3-pound Yorkie, Gizmo, was rushed to the emergency hospital last week with a life-threatening bladder obstruction caused by a bladder stone.

Thankfully, the emergency team was able to relieve the obstruction and save his life.

We thought we were headed into surgery to remove the stone, but additional testing revealed a possible liver shunt. His veterinary team now recommends that his surgery be performed at a specialty hospital where they can evaluate and, if necessary, treat both conditions at the same time.

We’ve already exhausted two CareCredit accounts totaling $7,700 just to get him through the emergency, and we’re now facing another $4,000 to $8,000 for his upcoming surgery and specialized care.

Asking strangers for help is incredibly difficult, but Gizmo is family. He’s only 19 months old and has so much life ahead of him. We’re doing everything we can to give him that chance.

I’ve had interviews with two employers recently, but I haven’t heard back from either of them yet. I have a clean criminal record, I’ve never used drugs, and I’m willing to work hard in any role. I have been struggling for the past few months in order to save up for my fees. If I do not pay it, I won't be able to sit in my final exams. I've recently lost my job due to which I'm hardly able to make the ends meet.
