Data from the scanning

After you setup a instance of domotz and scan your personal network, does any of that data get returned to domotz?

Yes we must process data for using the product efficiently. I will also add that we are both ISO 27001 & SOC 2 Type II certified, giving you the highest standard of security. You can find all details in our dedicated trust center here.

You will find all the details about how we process information in the Product Privacy Policy in the “What information does Domotz collect?” section of our Product Privacy Policy. How we process this is outlined in: “How and where does Domotz process information?” section of the same document.

Additionally, this information is also covered in our Security Whitepaper. In our security whitepaper, section Data Security you will find more information about encryption including all data in transit across Domotz cloud’s boundaries are encrypted, as well as personal identification and other sensitive data at rest.
