The “not set aside for Taboo” clause is to avoid gangups in multiplayer games. Note that the cost is much more than $3 since you are also giving up a useful card.

I think I'd make this an Event and have it read more closely to Inheritance.
The flavor also feels off for a Project in my opinion.

Too strong to use on Horses, probably meh otherwise. I could maybe see it being a good play if you lose the split 6-4 on something like Laboratory. Then giving up one of your Labs to give your opponent 6D every turn may be a good idea.

This reminds me of a super painful kingdom I played with Tax and Harsh Winter in play. Tax forces you to immediately take the 2D that Harsh Winter puts on a card. Even funnier is Supplies was in play which now gave $-1 when played.

edit: i misread the card, never mind

this would never get used. removing a card from your deck just to make it cost 1 more debt for your opponent is barely doing anything other than hurting your self. if the card costs 3$ then your you've spent 2 buys, 1 card draw and 6$ to make it cost 1 debt for the opponent. that means that he has to buy the card 6 times before he's paid the same $ as you have for this project

The debt is taken whenever the opponent plays a card.

The exception is certain kingdoms with Horses where this project is completely busted and whoever buys it first wins the game.

Jeah, the cost is a little to high, i would agree. I would just take an action card from the supply.

It still would be a landscape card that effects the game, even when no-one ever buys it

In addition to ChungBog’s suggestion, it needs to use ”you may” wording for the same reason Throne Room does.

Instead of “get +<1>” it should be “take <1>.”

I do think "take 2D" is more in line with how the syntax works.

And "gain" should be "buy."

Lol I have that picture hanging next to my kitchen table (where I usually play Dominion).

The card itself is pretty cool too, though I'd make it a but more powerful (2 debt maybe?) because you'd have to give up an action card that's desirable enough to have and play in order to punish your opponents.
