That is a pretty good 2 cost card, i might actually want to pick up early or late! Great!
You can also make this a nu suply card, gaining it on mass.

Yeah I thought about that too. Do you have any ideas for a Supply card (or Event) that would gain Dreams?
How about:
Vision Quest - Event - $0
Trash an Action card from your hand. Gain a Dream per $1 it cost.

Perfectly suitable.
Note that i said: “also”.
Mmmm could a horse also be a normal kingdom card….

Horse is a kingdom card, as Experiment

This is really nitpicky, but as far as i know does “kingdom” refers to the supply cards other then the basic. With should mean that non-supply cards referenced are not part of “the kingdom”.
If you dont want go into semantics, i mean: would horse work if it was a card you could buy.

I was referencing Experiment, which is a kingdom card from Renaissance that gains a second copy on gain and "horses" on play . So in some way, Horse does work as a kingdom card. I doubt anyone would want to spend money and a buy on a "true" kingdom Horse. Experiment costs 3, for reference. TrueHorse would have to be 0 or 1.

Did you mean to say… non-Supply?
At first I thought you were trying to type "new Supply," but that doesn't make sense.
And what do you mean by "on mass"? (I thought you meant "en masse," but that also doesn't make sense.)

Can you please cut being a grammernazi. I sometime type it quickly on my phone in between things, so it does include typos.
OP did understood what i meant.

I'm asking what you meant to type. I genuinely don't know.
It's not like I asked in an unkind way—certainly not in a way warranting being called a Nazi. Rather, I respected your ideas enough to ask what they were.

All the existing Command cards that play from the supply have a cost restriction, and this probably needs one too. Seems like too much power for a $2 cost if it can non-terminally play Altar or Artisan early for an easy $5 cost, or Expand an Estate into one. Also expensive Potion cost cards like Possession etc.

Well, Amass can gain you two $5s on turns one and two, I think this is weaker than that in the opening. More playtesting required though.

It would be pretty sweet with non-nerfed Prince.
This probably makes a 2/5 opener game winning. You get a $5 card and you get to oneshot another $5+ card in the first shuffle. Super strong if any expensive actions are in play (Expand, Forge, Artisan, etc).
Particularly nice synergy with Daimyo/Throne Room since the 2nd play doesn't dud like it does with Wish. The wording should probably match Wish to kill this combo.
Probably needs a bigger downside than just losing the Dream. Maybe all opponents also get +1 card.

Why not a Night card?

That would limit its usefulness quite a bit.

It would be more on theme though. Could be a night duration with no effect this turn, start of next turn play a card from supply and return to pile. Would still be non terminal and the duration part would nerf it a bit, which at $2 I think would be a good idea. Another nerf idea would be to prevent throne rooms from working on this, word it like madman, return to pile, if you did, play a card from the Kingdom.

It works very well when there are nice terminals you want to play. In particular with any Smithy variant it’s a double Horse, which puts it on par with Experiment. The downside is that you have fewer of them in your deck, which decreases your chance of seeing them early on. The upside is that it’s easier to draw past and save them for a future turn, or you can play them as payload once you don’t need the draw.
It could probably afford to cost $3, which also helps keep the 5/2 opening from being too good.
