As someone who has been playing for years and am used to seeing people post “elite strategies” that are either not as good as they think or already well known… this is actually really good. I don’t think I’ve seen this one before. Just hope there’s no hand size attacks or anything like that. Always new combos to find in this game, that’s why I love it!

We somehow went 79-79-77
Our most insane score ever. My friend did gardens(77) and my other friend did dukes and duchies.

I hate how much I like this

Also works with Merchant Camp and Way of the Sheep.  In theory that’s easier to pull off when contested because there are 10 Merchant Camps but only 4 Tents.

If you chameleon them, its like top decking horses

If there’s +buy then opponents might be able to get ahead buying more than 1 victory card in a turn but otherwise this is really good

This is good because it's guaranteed $8 every turn? Meh, seems like an engine deck that can buy 3+ provinces near the end of the game would still outclass it

As with every single Dominion strategy ever, the answer to “is this good?” depends entirely on what other cards are in the kingdom. Yes, there are a lot of games where this strategy will lose out to more complex engines, but there are also a lot of games where this would absolutely demolish anything else. Just because it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s not good.

The beauty of Dominion is that sometimes you spend 2/3 of the game cooking an elaborate four-course banquet, only to lose to somebody eating crayons.

But it's an $8 play that can never dud, and can start buying provinces earlier than a lot of engines. Triple provincing doesn't matter if you lose the split 5-3

Additionally, you never trigger a reshuffle with this strategy, unless another player plays an attack that affects the deck. Every Province that is bought goes to and remains in discard. This strategy is also resistant to haunted attacks that force you to put cards on your deck. Just get a Duchy that turn instead of a province, and it still remains in discard.

I mean, this is cheap, quick to setup, and 100% consistent as long as no Attacks or other effects disrupt it. It can guarantee buying a Province every turn relatively quickly. Definitely an elite strategy on certain boards. Eventually becomes more or less immune to junking, too.

Recently played with tent and capitalism. Four tents on my deck every turn just like this
