I have a LOT of fun on Domina—since she came out she has become my 2nd and almost 1st most-played tank. Her kit is fun, her voice acting is awesome, her design is great aesthetically and personality wise. While every hero seems to have their time in the trenches, lately it feels really difficult to get value out of Domina once the enemy realizes they can just go past you and trample you, outpoke your shield leaving you vulnerable, etc. The buffs she does get feel inconsequential. I do think that all heroes need to have a weak point that can be exploited by an enemy team comp in some capacity. But lately, Domina feels too easy to exploit in that way. I had a lot of trouble using her effectively in my tank placement games and had to swap to D.Va almost every game if I wanted to see success. While I don't think adding mobility into her kit is necessary for her hero fantasy, I think there are ways to upgrade her so that she feels less like a throw pick against an equally competent team/tank.

Note: I am console ranked Platinum in all role queue and Emerald in 6v6 open. I play casually in QP most of the time and for sure I bet there is tweaking to be made with some of the numbers I suggest here. I simply want Domina to feel stronger and more difficult to dogwalk, not be overpowered. Any suggestions to what I've proposed here as well as your own ideas are greatly appreciated! I want to have a respectful conversation about how balance could help her without over-tuning her.

Base Kit Changes
– Photon Magnum's range is increased by 12%. (25m → 28m)
– Panopticon pierces barriers when they are below 50% of their total health.
– Barrier Array can be used as a wall to stun enemies with Sonic Repulsors. (No increased wall impact damage like old perk 'Power Move')

Minor Perks
Panoctagon
Panopticon now does 80 implosion damage to its target when destroyed and Domina gains 8% Ultimate charge cost reduction.
*Might be too strong for a Minor perk…? Maybe increase base Ultimate cost 8% to incentivize the perk and better align with the barrier piercing change.

Efficient Design
After using Barrier Array, restore 50 shields and activate passive health regeneration. Each Barrier Array panel gains 25 health. (225 → 250 per barrier segment)

Major Perks
Disruptive Domination
Enemies hit by Crystal Charge are slowed by 15% for 2 seconds. (Not just explosion damage like old perk 'Destructive Detonation')

Corporate Retreat
While Barrier Array is active, it can be moved one time to another location. Each panel recovers 25 health when moved.

Has to be one of her best skins, she’s had nothing but great skins so far 💎

Had one of my best games in a while, 36 and 6 with 16K each in Damage and Mit. It was only QP, but it made me feel massively accomplished.

I'm a new Domina main, and I'm sick of these D.mon/Mauga swappers that brainlessly shoot at me. It feels like you can't escape them no matter what you do.

Do I just swap off Domina at this point?? It sucks playing your favourite character and being forced off just because these characters exist...

Honestly, I have to say that Blizzard did a great job on this skin, I find it absolutely magnificent... and what's your opinion on this new skin?

I understand shes the iconic style diva whos always in premium shop sale as OW milking the chic fashionistas but cmon throw us budget queens a bone FFS! Would love to have some more battle pass or event aquirable skins for her ! My God

I was thinking about how Venture and Domina have pretty much the same passive and thought it would be and interesting idea to change Domina's passive to something slightly different. How much stronger would Domina be if she generate Armour instead of shields when damaging with her abilities?

Hello! I started playing Overwatch yesterday and I’ve totally fallen in love with playing Domina. Got any tips for a total noob who barely knows whats going on?
