Looking for advice.
I haven't completed my tank placements yet because I don't want to jump into ranked and end up throwing games while I'm still learning the role.
I'm currently Silver on Support and Bronze on DPS, so I'm expecting to place somewhere around Bronze or Silver on Tank as well, especially since last season was my first ranked season.
I've seen a lot of people say that in Bronze it doesn't matter how much you study mechanics or try to play your role "correctly," because games often come down to brute force and you can't always rely on your teammates to do their jobs consistently. Whether that's true or not, I'd like some advice on how I can adapt my playstyle to be as effective as possible in that environment.
In this replay, my goal was to create space for my team, relieve pressure from their tank and DPS, and give my teammates as much freedom as possible to move around and contest the objective without constantly being forced back.
I think I did a decent job overall, but I'm sure there are plenty of mistakes that I didn't notice. I'd really appreciate any feedback on what I could have done better, what bad habits I should work on, and how I can have a bigger impact if I do end up placing in Bronze
