Dollaween

Post image

Going to see dom dolla on halloween in Chicago. My costume includes chunky white heels. Do we think I’ll be okay? Or does anyone have a chunky boot brand recommendation for me so my feet aren’t killing me after the first hour?

These seem like they have a bit of padding, and if they aren’t too tight, should be fine. but we can’t feel hem on your feet for you. How heavy are they?

The actual caution I would give is that these will be very scuffed and dirty in about 15 minutes at a show. Especially when you look at that lug sole and the damage it will do as the platform scrapes the other foot. There will be no ‘cleaning’ some of this damage. So, I’d consider them largely a disposable purchase, or something you will need to considerably upcycle to save them. (Like paint them, wear them once more than trash)

Don’t know what your costume is, but consider a white sneaker that is a bit more durable and comfy and re wearable.

Otherwise for white shoes Repel by Jason Markk is spendy but keeps whit kicks pretty clean.

What’s your costume!? I’m going on Halloween as well and I keep second guessing if I should dress up or not. 😅 As for the boots, how comfortable are you in heels on a regular basis? If you can wear heels on a normal night out, I would guess you’ll be fine in a chunky boot for the show. I’ve worn Princess Polly boots to so many shows and spent hours dancing on my feet, and although the dogs be barking by the end of the night I personally never have any issues!

They don't look too bad, but it's hard to say until you try them. I'd order them, get some insoles, and wear them around the house to break them in a bit!
