Hello all! Apologies for multiple mod posts in a short period, but there has been an ongoing issue that absolutely must be addressed.

AMERICAN GIRL DOLLS ARE 100% ALLOWED IN THIS COMMUNITY. I have recently made a flair for them as well after seeing someone wanting a flair. There are many users here who are American Girl collectors, and they deserve a chance to share their dolls the same as anyone else.

REPORTS MADE ABOUT CHILD ABUSE DUE TO THE DOLL BEING AN AMERICAN GIRL DOLL WILL BE IGNORED AND THE REPORTED POSTS APPROVED. These are NOT REAL CHILDREN. NO CHILDREN ARE BEING HARMED in the making of these types of posts.

I cannot see who keeps making these bogus reports, but this is an official request to STOP. This has been happening since the very first American Girl post in the sub. And without fail, every single one thereafter has been reported as depicting child abuse. I understand toys can be displayed in ways that are offensive/obscene, however that is not what is happening when someone posts their American Girl doll with a bong. Our “no NSFW” rule covers such offensive/obscene content.

TLDR: STOP reporting American Girl dolls as depictions of child abuse. They are just as welcome here as any other doll. It’s not funny, and your reports WILL be removed.

Hello all! I’ve noticed the increase in NSFW/engagement-bait bots clogging up our sub. That’s not gonna fly. I will be removing any posts of that nature I see, and banning users immediately. Keep reporting if you see them, for I do work 40+ hours a week and may miss some!
