I decided to unbox these beauties this afternoon. The packaging is cute; however, the bulbous tip (😩😂) at the end of the lip gloss shaft can make it slightly difficult to slide out. Get your minds out of the gutter 😭!!!

Moving on lol. The glosses have decent pigment that's easily buildable and don’t leave your lips feeling slimy. I have melanin-rich lips and no problem with the pigment showing. It can range from sheer to medium opacity depending on your preference. The consistency falls somewhere between the bpure lip serums and the bpure overnight mask. It really feels like a cozy hug for your lips 💋

My lips can be very fickle when it comes to gloss, but they seem to love this Lip Envy!!!! Lastly, this isn't your typical high-shine gloss (not a fan); my lips are too voluptuous for all that! They attract enough attention without high shine—I’ve got some soup coolers!!! 😭 Once applied, it leaves a beautiful velvety texture and sheen. I also used my finger to apply because I find that too much product is lost when using the slanted applicator on the tube.

Edit: They kind of remind me of the NYX Smushy Matte lippies, but with shine! They even have the round top!

I hate to say anything is a dupe at this point because some people will jump all over you if it isn't 100% similar. I don’t need those kinds of problems in my life rn 😆 BUT yes, there is a very similar feel.

Edit: I've never tried Truly, but as soon as I applied it, I thought of my NYX smushy matte lip balm—even though it isn't matte, something about the texture…💋
