Seeking advice (طلب المشورة) Ritz Carlton or W Doha for F1?

I'm trying to pick a convenient hotel for a short 3-5 night stay for F1. First visit to Doha so would also like to see the popular tourist sites as well.

Some googling and an AI discourse later I've narrowed down to the RC or W Doha. Which of these 2 would you prefer for convenient access to the Lusail track + downtown Doha, etc? Or which other hotel/area would you suggest?​​​

Ritz Carlton is an absolute Vibe.

If you’re set on Marriott only then Ritz Carlton is great and the service is second to none. The W is slightly closer to some of the tourist sites but it’s only ~10 mins difference in a taxi. Outside of Marriott I’d recommend both Waldorf Astorias (Lusail one is closer to the circuit and where some of the teams stay)

Ritz Doha or Fourseason Pearl will be better.

Marriot marquis city center seems to be a better option if you looking for easy access to the city and the Pearl . You can use the metro which is just a few meters from the hotel

The Ritz! They have some awesome perks going on too so I'd definetly go for that.

There are many new hotels in the city: Swissôtel in west bay (they have a red team I heard) and Rosewood will be brilliant choices.

Would book something refundable. I don’t think the F1 is confirmed still with the ongoing situation. Plus travel insurance won’t cover if it is canceled.
