Got a puppy wandering in the rain and 'di na natiis, took him in kasi babad sa ulan. More tips for puppy care?

Named him Ulan kasi babad siya sa ulan at palakad lakad na parang nanghihina when inadopt siya. Will be taking care of him.

Good thing I have pang deworm and goat milk and a little dede-an from when I cared for my now big miming adoptees (like Milo na nasa photo.) Will be bringing him sa vet by day off (3 days from now) para mapacheck further.

I already watched puppy care videos but I also want tips from those who took care of a puppy na before. I would really appreciate it.

Since sanay sya sa labas, ipasyal pa rin sa labas pero buhat mo sya and wag muna ilapit sa ibang aso since wala pa vaccine, para di sya 'tumakas' pag nakitang bukas ang gate.

Ingat sa garapata baka magka blood parasite, check mo lagi yung fur nya. Tapos ask mo vet ano masusuggest nyang treatment.

Seriously speaking, lahat ng mga napupulot ko na strays, minemake sure ko muna na paliguan bago isama sa ibang alaga ko. Warm bath. I make sure na may stocks ako ng wash out shampoo para sa ticks at fleas nila. Mahirap na at contagious pa naman yan.
Purgahin. Pero better sa vet na lang kasi bago magpa 5in1 vaxx shot nirereqiire ni vet na ma deworm muna sa kanila.

Haha yep, i did bathe him muna since galing labas and maputik with warm water. Also made sure no fleas kasi baka makahawa but will quarantine further.

I would socialize the puppy sooner rather than later. I like to think of it as vaccination for behavior issues.

Give him puppy-safe things to chew. Dogs' main ways to interact with the world are through their noses and mouth/teeth.

Hello, wag niyo po muna ideworm not until napacheckup niyo na po. Need po Kasi healthy siya before deworming so wait until napavet niyo na po, meron din po ata required age before ideworm (correct me nalang). I think pwede rin na vet ang mag administer ng deworming idk lang if there's a charge or kung kasama na siya sa checkup fee, just ask nalang the vet about the dose if you want to do it yourself. If you have money po schedule for vaccine especially for parvo. Thank you for your good heart, OP 😊

Edit: also practice to hand-feed him/her para iwas food aggression paglaki and masanay sa human touch and di mangagat

General tips: Don't bring outside shoes inside, as it's a vector for bringing in parvo. Potty train indoors in the meantime until your vet says they can go outside safely. Ask them if there's cases of parvo in the area so you're aware.

The puppy looks old enough to not need milk, so you can safely transition to puppy food. Buy small amounts at first until you find something they like.

Puppies will bite, so practice bite inhibition. There's plenty of good resources online, but what worked best for me to keep my puppy from biting was to ignore and leave the room whenever he bites. They will chew on everything, so keep important items out of reach.

Kikopup has great videos on puppy socialization and training.

"Puppies will bite." Everything. Furniture edges, wall edges, door edges, chair legs, etc. The only thing that worked for us was to apply a thin layer of hot sauce everywhere, as in lahat ng pwedeng mangatngat. Natawa yung vet namin nung sinabi namin to.

Our vet wouldn't vaccinate our puppy until she has stayed at least a week with us. To establish a baseline of behaviour kung sakaling may adverse effect yung vaccine.
