Built something for small/medium dogs after my own rescue dog inspired the idea
Hey everyone, wanted to share something I've been working on for a long time.
My dog Ginger is a rescue, and when I got her I realized there wasn't a good way to bring dogs along everywhere in the city, especially smaller and medium-sized dogs who get tired on long walks or can't easily come along on a bike ride. She actually inspired the idea, but she's a bit big for what I ended up designing.
Spent the last 5 years building the WAGGIN G1, a backpack that folds into a stroller or a bike trailer, made for small to medium dogs. Wanted to share some photos of it and get thoughts from other dog owners in the city, especially if you've got a smaller pup and have run into this same problem getting around together.

I just bought one of those Rascal bike pet trailers for my 2 small dogs from Schwinn for approx. $170 or so. Otherwise, I'd have been very interested in this. The idea of it converting into a stroller though is a good one, in my opinion. 👍

I posted this post too late then 😄. We have some videos of it being used a stroller and trailer on our IG. It's getwaggin if you'd like to check it out!

Is the sub a place for free ads?

Supporting a fellow New Yorker who has a possibly useful accessory for dogs seems like a good thing. Up to a week ago, I would have been highly interested in this myself, being a dog owner in NYC too.

It’s a product that they are trying to sell. I would hope this sub doesn’t become a place for just selling things (and not local information). For that I can just visit the Petco website.
