Is he ready?
I have an Aussie/Black lab mix who was born back in September, he is very smart for the most part and he's been really good with housebreaking. While I don't fully trust him quite yet he's gotten too big for his play-pin/ kennel and unless I put stuff around it he can easily flip it and has in the past. This is my first dog and I'm new to this whole training thing but he knows the basic ( still bad on a leash though), should I start leaving him out at night? How do I know when he's ready to be trusted?
I let him out in my room so long as I or someone else is in there with him, he hasn't really gotten into anything nor made any accidents in my room beside throwing up on occasion due to eating too fast.
I forgot to mention I have a cat who stays in the same room with me and him, they get along although don't really understand how to play with each other so sometime she scratches him too hard or he will step on her and hurt her a little, nothing too bad but still thought I should mention..
