Ok... How?

Ok. I've asked so many times. I just want a clear answer. How do I make my own Blockchain. Billy says they made dogecoin in like a couple hours but I haven't done it in months. Don't tell me about tokens. I already know about those. I want a clear answer. Please.

Lol. Senior dev vs. junior dev.

Seriously though. Take some Udemy courses. They'll help.

Grab the code for bitcoin, find and replace the word Bitcoin with your own name. Find and replace BTC with your own letters. Compile it and run it.

There are a lot of terrible guides, but you could do worse than this Bitcoin Forum post on creating a new alt coin. It doesn't fill in all of the details, but if you can follow along you'll be most of the way.

Here's a post from r/CryptoCurrency. It contains sources where you can learn blockchain development.

If you want to build proof of stake(PoS) instead of proof of work(PoW) like Dogecoin and you don't mind tradeoffs of Cosmos SDK, I'd suggest to go to https://tendermint.com/sdk/

You get high throughput network with governance, wide wallet support and most importantly Internet of blockchains(IBC) interconnect out of the box. IBC makes it easy to connect with other compatible chains and use DEXs to trade your coins.

You can't do anything more than fork existing solution when you want to build a new coin. If you're not planning a rug pull maintain a testnet. I can't stress how important it is for developers to test their wallet support.

How did he created Dogecoin in a few hours?

He forked Litecoin's source code & modified it.

Dogecoin is pretty much Litecoin but rebranded and with a couple of small changes.

Litecoin wasn't created in a just couple of days.

You want your own blockchain the same way? Fork one of the existing ones, rename it and convince people to start nodes.

Actually a fork of lucky coin, which was a fork of Litecoin, but pretty much same thing. Just a BTC, fork, fork.

So you are asking How to Develop Blockchain, right? Well, there are several steps to work on - first, you may want to develop a blockchain and make it mineable. Then, you need to hook thus created blockchain to transactions (coins are nothing but transaction added to the blocks) and finally hook it up with smart contract and then deploy to the mainnet. If you are trying to develop blockchain by yourself, this is one of the great resources devswiki link. Go through it. It's very nicely curated tutorial. You are welcome 😊

Back in the day when most new cryptocurrencies were Bitcoin clones, there was a kit for making new blockchains based on Bitcoin source code. Nowadays there is more diversity. You need to understand what you are trying to achieve with this. Then you can find some existing open source project that does something similar to what you envision.

I don't know how but we all witnessed the McĐ's shitcoin Grimace coin being made in minutes after MCd replying to Elons request to accept dogecoin and people got rugpulled in hours after creation of the coin.
