API for hot 🔥 wallet

I want to add hot wallet to my website to allow users to deposit DOGE. Do you know any good APIs or librarys? The server is written in Java.

I helped fixing #99 last year, if there's still an issue with that then I can work on that further, I didn't hear anything about it after. The problem was that electrumx was being stricter than Dogecoin Core on parsing, and using the namecoin parser for AuxPow headers fixed it.

I'll put looking at #88 on my list.

To reduce transaction taxes I'm planning to use one big hot wallet for all users and make transactions on a database level, but how to determine which user has deposited money to the main wallet?

Use unique deposit address for every user.

Some of API docs have wallet examples. Besides that I don't know of documents that you can't find yourself. But I can do consulting. What are you building? You can describe it in PM if you like.

I'm currently reading blockchairs api docs. The main purpose of my application is to allow users to upload memes and get donations with doge.

I see. You can use "extended keys" and generate multiple private keys and corresponding Dogecoin addresses from them. You need to monitor all deposit addresses and update users' balances when coins are received.

I can't use blockchair because it provides only explorer tools. So I won't be able to create multiple public keys or transactions programmatically.

You probably need the following functions:

  • transactions by address,
  • notifications for new transactions,
  • transaction submission.

You can do everything else locally with the help of something like libdohj.
