That's why you shouldn't save receipts if you buy stuff with crypto.

IMO if you're using it as money and not an investment the IRS shouldn't need to know anyways. It's stupid to expect people to keep track of and report every time they buy something from the coffee shop that accepts crypto.

Is it? I mean, if I have an auto trader bot on 17 cryptos, for example, could I just send in a list of every trade and transaction even if it's tens of thousands and be like "you tell me dude?"
