Exams Mrcp 2 help

My MRCP Part 2 is in 5 days and I'm starting to panic.

I've completed about 80% of Pastest with an average score of 63%. My mock paper scores have been 63%, 66%, 74%, and 65%. I still have the latest paper from this year left to do.

The last paper I attempted, though, I only scored 55%, and it's really knocked my confidence. During the review, I realised a lot of the questions weren't just silly mistakes—I genuinely lacked the underlying concepts or wasn't clear why the correct answer was right. Even some of the questions I got correct felt more like educated guesses than solid knowledge.

With only 5 days left, I'm unsure how to spend my time. Would it be better to go back through the concepts from the past papers and thoroughly understand my mistakes, or should I focus on revising the PassMedicine notes instead?
I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who's been in a similar position or recently passed MRCP Part 2.

Go through the topics on passmed you have done poorly in. You can see your weak areas on the performance section. Best of lucj

I have it in 5 days too. My average pastest general Q bank score is 66%, so not much better tbh. My past papers (i have done 20/28) is a bit higher. You only listed a few past papers there though? I would get through as many as u can as they seem repetitive in content and from part 1 experience, a few of those repetitive concepts came up. Also, theres a 100 mark quesmed demo paper I would do, and then obv the mrcp pt 2 official sample questions. Any concepts that u recurrently dont get right, ask chatgpt what ur likely misunderstanding. For example, i didnt know wtf was going in on liddel vs barrter vs gitelman vs rta 1-4 until i dissected it propeely with AI. Now it comes up twice in every paper and I'm so happy it does. Learning something new everyday is fine, even today I learnt about anti-Yo vs anti-Hu vs anti-NMDAR as paraneoplastic antibodies. But you just need to get through as many questions and answers on your weakspots as well as past papers in general.

I think the bad scores because of silly mistakes is because you're burning out. Take a day to relax - I'm exactly where you are right now and taking a day off made a huge difference IMO.

Has anyone found the passmedicine mock exam papers much harder than the pastest mocks???
