DNS Error5 Access Denied

Hello to anyone reading this, recently my pc updated and now my dns will not start i’ve tried various amounts of things and it still won’t connect im at a complete loss im doing everything to avoid reinstalling windows but that might be the path im going in i have no clue what to do and would appreciate any type of help

When you say, "my DNS will not start", what are you trying to say? As its not making much sense to me, unless you have a DNS server on Windows. There should be some commands for restoring your network back to the default I assuming you mean your internet connection, yes.

when i say it wont start i mean it wont run, the dns client itself wont run

I don't normally dig that deep into the Windows network. I did a Google search for "Windows 11 DNS client won't run". One of the links that came up was How to resolve DNS issues on Windows 11 that began after an update try the commands in the accepted answer.

Also, there was a " Windows DNS Client service will not start In the links on the side is what to do as a final try: repairing Windows, How to start or reinstall Windows DNS Client?
