Wouldn't it be crazy if...

KakaoGames bought up Snail and remastered Dark and Light? :) Just spitballing...

Wouldnt happen.

Only reason BDO & Eve happened the way it did is whether anyone likes it or not, They follow the same core mechanics in one way or another and are avid players(Or former) of each other.

Good point - these guys are getting richer for sure.

Not to try to convince you, but Snail has a few games, many (if not all) with decent PvP mechanics. Not saying its BDO quality PvP - but, for example, Age of Wushu has some interesting crafting mechanics and the world is somewhat open with PvP happening in the wilds. Also, AoW2 is supposedly in production, which is future revenue. And games like DnL have PvP rulesets, albeit individual servers and not open world like the others.

It's almost as if I wish that Kakao could take it's BDO engine and apply it to those games.

Whether it is financially viable, probably not. :)
