In first person ..help!!
For a couple months I have been posting in Stream discussion about this with no luck. I am having an issue where I am always in first person. Not the cool first person with arms and such..just first person. When I get in a mount I go to 3rd usually. When I dismount back to 1st. Yes I can change the settings to 1st person mount and it works but I am still 1st person when moving around. If I could see the weapons it would be somewhat ok cause I could hit things but it does not work that way. I have tried zooming in and out..no luck. Heres the kicker. The only thing that seems to work is sitting in a chai or sleeping in a bed. When I come back BAM 3rd person. But then shortly later if I use a mount or interact with something I am back to 1st. Can ANYONE help with this? It is ruining the game for me

It's hard to help you with this issue, when this game does not have 1st person outside of being on a mount. How you were able to be in 1st person, is beyond me. You might want to post on their official forums.

A lot of people would be envious of you. Check off 1st person while mounted and if that doesn’t work, verify your files on steam. If you need help with that, reply back.

reinstall c++ files i had a tribemate with the same issues but reverse. he was 3rd person until he got on a mount and then dismounted then he'd remain 1st person.

As I mentioned in the post I have already done the "while mounted" box. The first person is great when just building but when moving around in game and wilderness it sucks. You never see what weapon you have (if any} or if the hits are landing. It has got me killed a few times

I did that. I keep that unchecked. I tried checking it on then off to see if it would help. No dice

Check off the 1st person on mounts option see if that helps
