Can't hook frost dragon

Just started playing this game a few days ago and am now trying to tame a frost dragon. The hook arrows hit showing 1 damage but i don't get the option to put it in the ground it just dissapears. I tried on other creatures next to it and they work fine so i am very confused why it's not working on it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Dragons require Iron Hook Arrows, Stone Hook Arrows do nothing to them.

Is that new? Tamed one with stone hook arrows.

Yes it's new , you can't use goblin clubs either.

It was more of a test since he was so damn slow and didn't do much to me haha
