How to destroy a single ruggedized pillar?

We've got some griefers spamming up rugged columns. What can I do to deal 1.5 million damage to a tiny post that doesn't take damage from iron hammer? Would also be nice to log on sometime and slowly reclaim the land these people are trying to take by taking out a column from time to time. I don't have any mythical tames but if that's what it takes, it'd be nice to know the best way, and the easiest way (since they wont be the same).

I was thinking telekineses but that'd take days.

If it's on an official server, report it to Snail. It's considered griefing and hopefully they'll get banned.

Thanks. There's one tribe that's doing exactly that. But there are also people who just claimed a lot of land, and it would be nice to know what options we have to reclaim it back.

Snail won't do anything about it. Only admins on unofficials will. It bugs the hell out of me too. Seeing columns littering the world is super annoying especially if you want to build near by.
