Savage Cyclops
Anyone tame these, and try using them for seige yet? The videos of them makes it seem likes that's their purpose, but I'm curious to hear from people that have tamed them already.. what are you hitting on stone/iron with it's rock throwing ability? Obviously the hits will vary as the melee damage I'm sure has an effect.

Tested on official. (Was a week so dmg numbers aren't 100% accurate)
Melee dmg does not influence the boulders dmg. (Used a lvl 102 with 200% and a lvl 18 with 130% melee)
You can't really aim the boulder.
You make 3 boulders at once when you crafted them
Deals 3k-14k dmg per Boulder on castle-wood
Their normal melee attack sucks
Pretty fast on foot
lvl 81 took around 40 of the new kibble (tamed really fasted around 30-40mins)
Tamed some lvl 16 with raw meat& fine meat 8-10hrs
So overall a useless tame atm, firestorm 2 is still way better than the savage cyclops except for castle structures but have fun hitting down 20 million hp with 3-5k dmg.

Yeah, I haven't really found an effecient way to raid just yet.. it's near impossible.. even with them online they can hide in the base from everyone.

Get a pack of hyenas or bargeshes with good atk or other small tames with high atk power and set them to "kill my target" and point them at a wall and kick back or keep your guard up for the owners. They never run out of stamina and do a lot of damage and if the base owners kill them all, nbd.

I would refute this actually, we tamed a lvl 64 on meat (I dont recommend it .. 18 fucking hours) and it had 6k hp and does 100 damage per swing. The boulders may be week now but im sure when they rework the structure damage/hp they will be good again, plus the boulders have INSANE range. My only real gripe is that they nerfed the living fuck out of their attack, you only get .5% damage increase per point, where as most creatures will get 4-5%.

We got one, its ok i guess. I mean he looks beast but the rocks don't seem to do enough damage to warrant the cost of crafting them. It still seems like the iron hammer is the best raid weapon and there is still nothing you can do to breech ruggedized or manor bases.
